Culture_Czar - yeah, that is a great username. Damn. A month away from college football season and I will be going through withdrawal. No cable. At least there is usually a CBS and an ABC game or two each Saturday. But man, this is going to be painful.
Yeah, that sounds like a drag. I have cable but not a mega package with 80 billion channels. I usually miss out on a lot of the west coast games because they're on more obscure channels!

I think will be hard to stop their offense. I could see them putting up 24 or so on even 'bama or LSU. The question is still the defense. They won't play an explosive offense all year. Will see. Outside the stadium for the Neb game was electric.
Thurs 9/1 against UNLV. Then Oregon State, Northern Illinois (at Soldier Field), and finishing up with South Dakota before the conference season starts 10/1 against Nebraska. I would say an average non-conference schedule. RE Miami, people are throwing out "Death Penalty" but I doubt that will happen. Though could be something fairly severe like loss of 40+ scholarships over a 4 year period, no bowl games for at least 3 years, and the possibly of a TV ban.
Once in awhile I will poke around in the Big Ten thread or the college football thread in the Columbus Crew off topic forum. Not much else though. What up with what is going on down in Miami? Geez. Two weeks and one day until the Badgers open up the season. Need my fix. All good with you? And if you ever get onto twitter, look me up (zpennycook). Some good people on there. Later.
I wasn't where I could contact you, but did you hear the BCS Championship tix auction on JOX yesterday? Make-A-Wish had two tix plus airfare donated. The auction only lasted for 2 hours and the package went for 4K.
That shirt's not bad. I've always preferred LS for winter events. Our gameplan shouldn't be any different than it has been all year. Simply jump out early with ball control and let our D do what they do best. I think we'll be okay, but the Utes are a capable team. This should be fun.
You should be excited. I'm totally jealous. I believe the Tide is now a 10.5 point favorite... and Utah's OC won't be present. Have fun... bring me back a t-shirt! :)
Oh man... I wish... but there's no way I can afford that trip right now. I think a good friend of mine is having a Sugar Bowl house party. I'll probably end up there. Are you making the trek?
I love that Klaxons album too - probably one of my all-time favorites. I heard it last year and didn't pay much attention to it, but I picked it back up recently and can't seem to stop listening to it. I'm always on the prowl for new music, so if you find anything along the same vein, please let me know!
