yea, keep in mind Pelusso took both Nacional and la U to the semis (in the Libertadores) in 2009 and 2010 respectively. best of luck, man.

well, I wouldn't necessarily call him "my boy" but I definitely think he's a good, more than capable coach. congrats on the title. does this mean Olimpia will be the Libertadores next year? if so, look for Pelusso to show his "know-how": I would not be surprised if Olimpia makes it to the QFs.

yea, man la U's got me pretty hopeful of something special this year. though I am not a fan of the team perse, anytime a Chilean club is in the Sudamericana/Libertadores, I will always cheer them on almost as though the NT was playing. only one international title at club level will do that to you.

but back to la U: they sort of remind me of Colo Colo's 2006 Sudamericana run though this la U team may not have such good "names", it's a stronger team from top to bottom: the defense is not as weak for instance.

anyhow, best of luck with Pelusso: to me, he's a top-level coach in South America. the guy certainly knows his stuff.
