Man I finally heard the press conference...uugh that was rough. You're completely right, Mark fighting back the tears and pinche Pete acted like a complete prick! He kinda rained on something that was supposed to be very special for Mark and his family. I hope Mark somehow looks at it like "damn, I must really be good to get Pete Caroll to lose his cool" TBH, I've never seen Pete so out of control, made him look scared.

I actually haven't heard anything about it...I've been sick and uninterested in everything. I'll check it out and get to you... from what you're implying I would agree.

Hahaha. Hey, you guys might get a championship this year that way too.

The Rose Bowl kept us from kicking Big 10 tail. I dont know if the 97 team would of had trouble with Michigan, they demolished a Peyton Manning led Tennessee whereas the Wolverines struggled against a Ryan Leaf captained Washington St. In light of their pro careers (and in one case, a lack of) im pretty confident the Bugeaters would of won.

But yeah, youre right. For as much as the BCS was supposed to stop things like that from happening it seems to have only aided it to an extent. And now a deserving team sits home watching two team they beat play for the conference championship. Thats not right.

      Ah, prodcution. I see.

I'm actually not sure if UCLA has a Spanish broadcast. LA (and CA, at large) isn't anything like Texas when it comes to gridiron, but I wonder. I suspect, no.

I've been listening to it today (I don't know why), and they just mentioned coverage of the game this weekend.

Do the games stream online? I know UCLA games are not streamed from our local radio station website due to contract-programming rights issues. If it streams, I'll try to check your estillo this weekend ... could be my next practical language application exercise!

Do you do play-by-play or color?

Oh I think with Santo Sanchez at QB, we'll be ok. In all honesty I'm quite excited to see him play as the number 1. I saw him in the high school all star game a few years back and I saw him make some ridiculous throws. I have a ton of faith in him and the program as a whole. Yes I think SC will give me another National Championship within the next 3 years. How are your Horns looking?

I'm at a loss with RB, I hope Guti see's a call-up but I think Sven will only see midget. I want a Galindo Salcido/Magallon (assuming he improves) pairing with my boy Castillo on the left. A Pardo/Rafa defensive mid would kill I think. Arce and Guardis on the wings, with Nery and Vela up front. Gio needs more time I think.

Overall, I'm optimistic and happy Chucho didn't get the gig. His call-ups stunk of favoritism, and his starting 11 against Argentina showed how naive he is.
