hi, i'm considering visiting south africa for the world cup this summer, but i had several concerns. when you mentioned that you were a police officer in south africa i felt it was a good chance to ask someone who knows the country some questions. what are the best ways to get around the country? since games are going to be spread across the far shores of SA and you say the public transportation is not very safe i was wondering is it better to rent a car for the month or to book flights for each match? or is there another option? as for the crime problem, is the country taking steps to insure the safety of it's guests? as a young adult traveling alone, what should i do to prevent any unpleasant experiences? are there any other things that you can tell me? do you have any contacts who are involved in organizing or can help me plan my trip? thank you for your time!
