question, you said your club coaches were better than their high school/jr high counterparts. In what respects were they better? Tactics, demonstrating technique, practice organization and/or physical fitness?

I think maybe I'm just looking at it the wrong way then.

The schools seasons are short so they are effectively rec leagues which are only good enough for fomenting the sport with the youth and possibly giving an opportunity to kids who are good enough but can't afford competition.

Although, I understand competition leagues like Coast Soccer League run year round? Is that what you played?

Mosco the more time spent training and competing the better the kid will be and the best probably eat, sleep and live futbol.

Let me ask you this while we are on the subject. Do you think a player with Xavi's, of Barcelona, skillset can be developed? Or is there a variable for which can not be quantized?

Meaning, did his enthusiam for fut and natural talent play the largest influence or is he a product of his environment? I guess it boils down to a nature vs nurture discussion.
