Re the little lad stuck in the shirt. I was laughing pretty hard by the time we were trying to free him from his shirt, so I am sure he knew I was on his side. I felt a bit sorry for him actually, and will make some inquiries as to why he doesn't seem to have the proper kit. The club does offer scholarships and the in-house program has sponsors, so he should at least have gotten the t-shirt.
At the opposite extreme from the rabid parents are those who don't care and never show up. I once coached a U14 boys team and we had a couple of cases like that, so my girlfriend and I more or less became surrogate parents for a couple of hours each week.
