    ah, the history of English football according to sky, along with the phrase "in premiership history" as if the creation of the premiership was a radical structural change comparible with the formation of the Bundesliga in the 1960s.

    Still, at least because of it, next week I'll see my team lift the proper League championship trophy, something Man Utd haven't done since 1967. The premiership trophy looks like it was designed by chavs.

    You say that Manchester United hasn't lifted the League championship trophy since 1967 as if it's a bad thing. We would have won it in '93 regardless. You wouldn't be criticising the Premiership trophy if Reading won it.
