If there's one player we could have done with establishing himself its him, terrible injury to get so young. Difficult to come back and be the same player. Let's hope he's one that can.

Terrible news for him but an ACL is now an injury a player his age can fully come back from.

shouldn't have been playing in the game if the club were doing their jobs, he'd have been held out to sort a loan move out

Hadn't realised it was such a significant problem, not played a match in over a year. Oakley Cannonier is also injured and so missed their UEFA Youth League exit to Sporting.

I gather Adam Wharton, Charlie Webster & Sonny Perkins have all recently returned from injuries so we'll see if they're included.

Mubama got his first official goal against Larnaca tonight as West Ham progressed to the Quarter Final.

Disappointed this squad has been deprived of Norton-Cuffy, Devine, Bynoe-Gittens & Scarlett. I think other nations would do it differently. Can accept that Rico Lewis is on another level.

    No Shoretire or Charlie Setford.

I just don't see how Devine is playing a year up. The others I can understand although I agree that Scarlett should be in this group.

    Both Setford's are missing.

I feel Rico Lewis should have stayed here to help us qualify. Tough to lose a player like that to play in friendlies.

Probably because Devine was outstanding in last years finals in Slovakia ,playing a year up .

I thought he was decent rather than outstanding.

Not sure he's really a first name on the team sheet for the under 20's who already have a strong midfield, I can see the argument he'd have been better suited to sticking with the under 19's who's midfield isn't nearly as strong.

Obviously you dont rate the kid at any level or it a disgruntled parent as Devine is keeping your lad out the squads haha. Opinions are great but have to agree with the selectors on this one!!

Only person who seems emotionally involved in this is you.

Don't think anyone's claiming devine is useless, just hasn't pushed on as much as might have been hoped and might be better served being with his age group.

Agree with Snrub, he wasn’t a standout in the tournament for me.

I mean if you think the only opinions that matter are the selectors, why are you even visiting a forum?

And if you put such great value of officials opinions then i'm sure you can agree that Devine wasn't in fact outstanding in the tournament given he did not make the team of the tournament as selected by the UEFA technical team (unlike 4 of his team mates).

Clearly you either have personal investment in him, or are a avid Spurs fan based on all your posts being about Devine and clearly unable to be objective given your inability to take what isn't even a criticism of him and actually about England selecting squads more efficiently.

As per Iceland's FA, England are not going to be broadcasting any of the matches.
