A great win and a confidence boost. Hopefully Brandt, Moukoko and Adeyemi will br back soon.

    Excellent control of midfield.

Why for the love of God are we not renewing contracts. This team really doesn't need a lot to challenge the European elite and we will have the money.

Tomorrow we need to hope for a Leverkusen win.

Very dominant in the second half until the 6:1. Not sure how much of today's performance was due to Cologne going through a bad phase currently or whether Terzic found a formation that just worked.
Everyone delivered and Malen finally looked like a part that fits into the team. That was also thanks to Wolf. The two are a good combo and they were the more dangerous side by far.
Almost flawless performance by Guerreiro and Dahoud in midfield especially considering that Dahoud was out for so long. Both also played a role in making Cologne's pressing impotent by falling back. The only thing I didn't like was Dahoud retaliating after a tackle which can lead to derailing a game.

Reus postgame: His goal remains to end his career in Dortmund, talks are ongoing.
If you keep Reus, I think you have to find a solution to also keep Guerreiro.

Crucial games right after the break that will likely decide the direction of the rest of the season: Bayern, Leipzig (Cup) and Union.

I do think it’s a shame Dahoud is leaving, when fit and playing like this he offers a lot.

I guess he is just too injury prone.

Yes, but when fit he has not been given the right opportunity IMO for most of his Dortmund career.

Great game today. Guerreiro stellar. Dahoud great. These two helped a lot with the distribution. Wolf is also adding great ball distribution to his game. He's been amazing. Jude better than last few games. Malen can create. Needs a bit more consistency to find his rhythm in Dortmund.

I don't know how this team would do against a tougher team. But I would def start Guerreiro or Dahoud instead of Ozcan when Can is back.

Exactly. Its the same way Gnabry wasn't deemed good enough at West Brom. Limited managers actually don't know how to make the use of technical players.

The player that should be dropped or moved out wide is Bellingham, but that won't be done.

Yesterday controlling the midfield AND the defensive midfield role was all done by Dahoud.

Guerreiro interchanged with Reus as a 8/10 and occasionally playing on the left wing.
Both players offer far, far too much to let go.

There's still time to correct mistakes and fix our poor choices.

Malen was good yesterday, but I would still sell him. Reyna 100% needs to be sold too.

Selling Bellingham and extending Guerreiro and Dahoud would leave the club in a strong place with regards to midfield for next season, especially with Can getting back to his best and potentially over 100m generated for reinforcements.

I think the bosses have also realized that his future has in Dortmund lies in the midfield as he is much more effective there for us.

I want to believe this is Kehl talking some sense into the club.

Ppphhhhffff... 2 year contract?? He'de probably get a 4 year with a higher wage packet elsewhere, especially in the PL.

At the very least you can have the fukin decency to offer a 3 year contract, this sh!t is derisory. You've just offended a player that bossed the middle of the park in the last 2 games he's been stationeed there.

I'de tell WEASELKUK to shove it !!

Good news about Rapha. There were always murmurs about a supposed lack of professionalism on his part but for me it always came down to injuries and defensive ineptitude - he shouldn’t really play in a back 4 against strong opponents, especially now that we have excellent cover in Ryerson. Obviously he is an exquisite playmaker. He is reportedly very settled with his family in Dortmund, which is notable for a non-German speaking player.

As for Dahoud he seems to have a good relationship with Terzic so maybe he just wants to lock down a starting job elsewhere, potentially abroad. It would have been nice to keep him provided he can stay healthy.

By the way, Marius Wolf got a well-deserved first callup to the national team. Many fans regarded him as lacking the talent to play regularly for Dortmund, but he has developed into an exciting and dynamic right back who competes hard and adds firepower on the flank.

While we are focusing on players whose contracts run out in 2023, the club is also in talks with those with a contract till 2024 who might leave next summer without an extensions, too. Brandt is among those and reportedly will be offered a new contract to make him one of the top earners. He seems to have an interest in the PL.
Wolf is another one with a contract till 2024. Imagine losing all of them.

    Knowing these b!tches... well ‍♂️

Expect Weaselkuk to haggle them out of signing. Brandt will go to Bayern and consequently dominate the middle of the park with 8 seasons of double digit markers, and Weaselkuk will have saved 1 million Euro.

1 million Euro '? Woho... BIG SPENDER !

Brandt won't go to Bayern, according to reports he has a strong interest in playing in the EPL should he decide to leave. On current form his extension should be a priority.

Yes, possibly, but at this point, I rule nothing out. It's quite clear from the leaks, thaT Bayern have been tapping up Kobel with a potential move for 2024, he only has 2 years left on his contract after this season, but leave it to this clown show of a fuking management to renew contracts in an efficaceous way, see the Greedy-koko.

Does anyone have Weaselkuk's LinkedIn, I tried to find him on there but alas... I'de like to give that b!tch a piece of my mind !!

I even wrote a poem just for him...

    Clickaty Clinckaty Clank,
    Weaselkuk held up the Bank,

    The clock struck one,
    Lewa had none,
    Kloppo was done,
    Fat Hoeny had won,

And Weaselkuk sat in a stank!
