Malaga the next Club, after Real Sociedad and Osasuna to make accusations. MCFNews| 📢 Respect for the fans. Respect for the Club and the shield. Respect for our coaches, players and staff. Respect for the city and the province of Málaga. RESPECT for #MálagaCF.Statement 🔗 https://t.co/o6r3iLULfu📷 @pozo_mariano (Málaga CF - Levante UD)#Entity pic.twitter.com/c3l1TfM8wE— Málaga CF English (@MalagaCF_en) March 18, 2023 At this point, if everybody claims the league/game is rigged against them, who is it in favor of? What an inappropriate statement released by Málaga CF today. Present some proper evidence of referees not respecting or deliberately targeting the team or move on. 5 wins in 32 games. Don’t blame others for the failure of this club. Embarrassing.— Christian Machowski (@CM_MalagaFoto) March 18, 2023
This is the sort of example when people make the point that the Barca Negeira case has caused huge damages to the league, and people and clubs aren’t going to pretend nothing is happening in order to protect the system. I for one like all these teams calling out the league and it’s incompetence.
The same people demanding proof of specific incidents are angry a club has provided proof of a specific incident. This is foolishness.
If barcagate helps La Liga get better officiating I'm all for it. The league needs more accountability.
I assume Malaga are going to provide a similar announcement when they get a favorable decision (not that it'll mean mean, they're shit)? This is what's going on. Osasuna can behave like animals when Real Madrid is in town, but a week later publish that VAR is tuned against them (as if it's an FM radio where you set up the offside with a specific kHz)
I feel like this statement by Malaga has more to do with the way VAR has been implemented than accusing the League of being corrupt. We have VAR yet we still have different standards being applied week in week out. Not only in LaLiga - it was obvious this week in the CL as well with Man City's penalty. The point Christian Machowski is making is pointless. Regardless of how Malaga is doing they should expect to be treated fairly, or at least to know that rules will apply equally to everyone in the sport. Too much discrepancies in the way rules are applied at the moment (for a VAR era). Of course Malaga will cling on to every lifeline they can get - why shouldn't they, it's a totally normal reaction to the situation they find themselves in.
Malaga has barely been making payments to the players, if at all. If Spanish football were ran under the same rules that a corner store operates, half the clubs would be bankrupt. Saying they deserve respect is quite the statement when they don't respect the club themselves.
🚨 Antonio Conte: “We are not a team. We are eleven players that go into the pitch. I see selfish players, players that don't want to help each other and don't put their heart”. ⚪️ #THFC“Until now I try to hide the situation but now, not anymore”. pic.twitter.com/KsQQGFaGIZ— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) March 18, 2023
Wouldn’t place a big bet on Raul being the next coach of the club. He’s basically our insurance policy in case we don’t get who we want. Certainly not qualified for this job.
Conte "They're used to it here. Don't play for something important. They don't want to play under pressure." "They don't want to play under stress. Tottenham's story is this. 20 years there is the owner & they never won something. Why?"
The exception isn’t the rule. Raul certainly has enough of a body of work to judge him on, and the conclusion isn’t great.
I agree but at the same time I don’t think we’ve ever had a coach that super achieved in Castilla. I think Raul will coach us but I said last week, he’ll get a job in Europe first. Doesn’t seem to be in a major rush
This is Conte in “begging for a payout” mode. His contract ends this summer iirc. He looks like he’s angling for an immediate holiday paid for by the club.
Chelsea fans swore that they were upgrading when they let Rudiger walk and signed Koulibaly. Kalidou has been shit
Wow. Guess he wants to get sacked and maybe get in the running for Chelsea job when Potter's time is done.
Neither was Zidane who was not a very good castilla manager to begin with. Just say you don't like Raul.
