I agree with this. I am a big Slaton fan in general (as part of a 3 person crew), but when she is color commentator by herself, she simply talks too much. She needs to let the game speak for itself and provide good analysis at appropriate times, but not continuously!
That was a good amount ot folks complaints. She would out talk her partner, and she gets caught up over analyzing things and makes mistakes like calling the Galaxy MLS Cup Champions. Shes great as a quick sideline reporter.

Gameday Saturday morning in St. Louis. Two bloody Mary's and donuts! Since 1779, before Pike Place Market, the British surrender at Yorktown (or Goodsport).
Seven hours' notice. Matchday in St. Louis! Join us for today's viewing party at @JacksBar.— San Jose Earthquakes (@SJEarthquakes) March 18, 2023
That's exactly what St. Louis is saying. How many fair-weather Californians are used to that kind of weather?
So I know Quakes fans have dozens of things to complain about with all aspects of the organization, but do the Quakes have the best "preview" videos of any MLS team so far? I have only watched like 10 other teams, but none are as thorough as the Quakes one with three people, an actual set, looking both back and forward, and interviews with the coach and/or key players... it also seems to be longer than most others, over 10 minutes as opposed to some that are less than half that. How the Quakes are handling the previews should really be the standard for every MLS team. St Louis on the other hand may be the worst?? I watched theirs last night and it appears to have been recorded after their first or second game. Did they upload the wrong video clip, or are they being lazy and hoping no one notices or cares?
St. Louis is kind of a scrappy team. Their roster does not inspire fear. You guys have a puncher's chance tonight.
They’ve been as lucky as they’ve been good to be honest. I have watched their first two games and they have been gifted half their goals by their opponents. I am a very fervent Bundesliga follower and find it incredible seeing Eduard Lowen being such an impactful player considering he was a below average player while in the Bundesliga.
Since we're a team that likes to gift goals to other teams, we'll probably fall in line with that game plan.
I haven't watched any of the pregame videos from any of the teams, but several people have remarked on this very subject to me, stating that the Quakes have the best ones.
Thanks, haven't watched LAFC or NYRB yet, I will check those out... I'm not surprised, LAFC is LAFC, and NYRB for years put out really good weekly videos on Youtube.
I like LAFC, Quakes and Red Bulls the most. Red Bull is planning a whole series on their youngsters which Im very curious about. I need to watch Philly, KC and Orlando still.
The ONLY thing I hate about apple TV is the stupid ass commercial with Whitney Houston's song 'How Will I Know' That commercial has ruined that song for me.
