Son-Porro working really well. Amazing assist from Son. Lots of great passes from Porro to Son as well.

Spurs are a joke. But they got robbed by VAR. Never ever a pen.

Son decided to renew his contract in 2021 when it was obvious that Spurs were horseshit and Kane was on the cusp of leaving, when he could've waited his contract out. He lacks ambition, and now he's going to stay at Spurs his entire career until he transfers to KLeague or MLS. What a waste of a great player who could've contributed to trophy winning seasons.

Son has clearly peaked, and appears to be on the decline. But that’s ok because he’s done so much. No doubt he can still score goals at the highest levels but his game must change and become a pure goal scorer, which won’t happen at Spurs.

I’d have no qualms with him moving on to stay at the highest level for another 2-3 years.

Watching Napoli this season, you can see the impact of having a reliable defense on goal scoring. Osimhen and Kvara can only score so much because the midfield and defense can retain and regain so much possession.

Imagine Son in an unselfish, quick, and possession based team. Wow

What did he accomplish? Puskas, EPL top scorer and Asian Games winner? He could've won EPL and CL with his talent and wasted it.

Neymar is a horrible human being, detestable in every way. Son is what every footballer should be like, as a person. I wish him some success and silverware, as a reward for being a shining light in a sea of overblown egos.

Son lacks the personality and leadership qualities to take his talent and discipline to the next level. At times you need to be selfish to be great, and he lacks that.
Neymar could've been generational but wasted it by making the wrong decisions (such as leaving and staying at PSG), same goes for Son in terms of cementing himself as the best Asian footballer of all time. Always underwhelming for his national team as well. Without trophies, there is no argument for Son being at that level of greatness.

I respectfully disagree. Football is a team sport. It is the teamwork and unselfishness of Koreans (and Japanese) that gives me a reason to smile when watching these players play. In a way, Son is following the example of Harry Kane. Okay, he might leave, but many have expected him to leave a long time ago.

To think that if Tot wasn't so shit we would've seen SHM vs. KMJ in the QF's

yeah amazing, for KOR Football no doubt, but Spurs would have been shown the door quick. How in hell would the likes of Dier, Davies, Sanchez and Lenglet stop Osi and Kvara? :D

Another question is how would the likes of Son and Rich get through Lobotka Anguissa Kim

True but at one point there was an argument that Neymar could've been very close to Messi's level

I just ran into an article on a Croatian news website claiming Son has stated that he thinks he could have helped the team more, and feels responsible for Conte's dismissal. Is this true? I just...can't believe how special Son is. It takes a lot of character to say that. And he isn't even completely at fault there. Conte did refuse to alter the team according to the results of games.

He said the same thing every time his manager got sacked.
