I'm just hoping for no whammies on the crap 1/4" carpet over concrete field. Second worse pitch behind Yankee Stadium and only slightly better than the one the recently played on.

Yankee Stadium's field is miles better than the surface at Gillette Stadium. Just because Yankee Stadium doesn';t present well on TV for soccer doesn't mean that the field is bad for playing on.

I’m always afraid someone is going to break an ankle at Yankee Stadium. The players slip constantly on the sod they put over the infield.

That's better than the thin layer of carpet they roll over the concrete in Montreal.....also, it's not like Yankee Stadium is the same as the Vet was.....

Well he did rest a few players Tuesday. Plus they only play a game a week these next two weeks.

Montreal didn't bring in any adequate replacements for the players that departed in the off-season.

Even worse, they hired a manager that is trying to play a system that doesn't suite the team.

Once Carranza got sent off Montreal were able to go forward. At 11 v 11 the Union were in control.

    Absolute madness at the end.

    Merde.

So close to winning. In the end we didn’t do enough to close out the game. Onto next week.
