I think this is all on Danjuma. Villareal said he could leave on loan as long as the salary was picked up. Danjuma wanted EPL and the only choices were Everton and Spurs. He should have known from Berwijn that going there was a dead end. I don't feel at all sorry for him; bad choices are sometimes made.

Have to agree. If he went to Everton and they avoided relegation with his help he would be a hero if they didn't well the team was going to get relegated there wasn't much he could do. Probably started turns to play European football and thought this was a smart move.

Kluivert looked good today playing both wide forward positions and scoring from the right with a well taken strike.

I have said this before he should have been looked at by the jury for that RW position. He brings far more flair to attacking than berghuis who needs ball in right position to make his mark. Curling from the right. Defensively I would rate kluivert above berghuis as well.

He’s faster and a better athlete then Berghuis who is probably more technical then Kluivert.
Berghuis clearly wants to cut inside from that right forward position is better suited for the # 10 role but is behind the pecking order of Xavi or Gakpo and probably Lang or Memphis if he plays there.

Janssen has retired from Oranje following Luuk De Jong, but Blind and Klaassen still remain.

But Spurs also have a say in all this, so of they got him on a loan, then why not play him??!!

He is good enough for the team he plays for and no better. BTW, you don't need to use bold big fonts; all of us here have good vision.

Thanks for both Janssen and Luuk de Jong for their service, but equally importantly, thanks for opening up spaces for younger players to come in and possibly making an impact.

Dallinga scored today, double-digit (10) goals already this season.

  13. I don't rate him very much at all. He's a mediocre player.

Great news. It seems that the only way we can get rid of these average players is if they retire. Unbelievable that it takes this for these coaches to forcibly move on from mediocrity.

Now I hope Blind and Klaassen also piss off sooner rather than later. De Vrij might as well retire too.

I think with good service,.he can be instrumental in NT. If you at luuk and weghorst who have got the nod, I think he could well be like his father also. Make impact off the bench. Off course come in his prime.
In the same boat as lammers and zirkzee imo.

Two goals by el ghazi. How long before he gets the call up. His crosses was good plus when in the box he brings that big physic and Arieal attack factor. Hence the right wing option now should be kluivert, El ghazi, Tavsan and Dilrosun. Going forward off course.

I watched summerville vs Chelsea. I think him and lang are same esque except him being left footed. Lang being more creative and technical though.

Memphis was lively and played 60 plus minutes. Had some chances but didn’t take them today. He was frustrated with himself.
Kluivert was not as involved today as Atletico Madrid was pretty much in control, but like last week he played both sides of the attack.

    Analysis of the strikers situation

Yup, try Gakpo there with Malen , Memphis, Lang, Frimpong, Danjuma (if he can regain his form instead of warming the bench) on wings, Simon's as attacking midfield.

  22. Well, to be fair Gakpo isnot a striker, he comes from the wing.

Striker in form. 15th goal for the season. I highly optimistic he is going to be the next big striker for NT. He didn’t even got a call up for JO because he plays in championship which is not seen as competitive enough even over eredivisie .

I don’t know if you guys follow championship but Ivan toney who plays for Brentford has been their star man from championship days where he scored 31 goals before getting promoted to epl. He currently is third behind in Kane in epl with 17 goals, had 12 goals last season and was called up to England squad in the last internationals. I’m expecting the same for piroe when he departs Swansea which is coming at the end of this season.

I rate him above dallinga because he is a more complete striker and has better finishing capabilities then him.I think he again will cross 20 goals mark this season
