I doubt that the team has that cash on hand to give away. I'll bet that it's some kind of an insurance policy, such that the team pays a premium, and the insurance company would pay off in the unlikely event that the team loses the match.

An American team finally has a legitimate reason to call themselves "United" and they pass...

Welcome back Kenn and as you can see, there are new dumb things dumber than the old dumb things. Why should the old formula change? I'm actually impressed with the creativity the new lower-level leagues work with. Just when you think they can't.....they do!

According to this article, only two NISA clubs have announced tickets.

One NISA club doesn't have an official website.

Seven clubs haven't announced single game and/or season tickets. This includes Bronze Star Detroit, err...Gold Star Detroit in their makeshift soccer stadium I guess.

LA Force doesn't even play in Los Angeles.

    Albion somewhat exists.

The New York Cosmos are still a zombie club.

Remember, play begins in a month.

At least they kept the same identity in each market.

If they could get promoted, all that would be shored up, toute suite.

NISA announced a first of its kind: A Chinese-owned soccer club operating out of Irvine, CA. The name of the club that's set to debut in 2024 is Club Irvine Zeta FC. They will be sharing Championship Stadium with Orange County SC and California United Strikers FC -- if they can get it together.

Also, I find it funny how there are some Kingston Stockade supporters who are trashing NISA. Pro/Rel for USA! LOL! I find that as funny as Lukaku's comments about MLS getting rid of the cap. I wish someone would've schooled him on the first and second incarnations of the NASL. Those incarnations had no salary cap and... what happened?

"Experience soccer from an owner's perspective, a real life Wrexham and Ted Lasso"

They realize those are two different TV shows, right, and that one's fiction and one's reality? Like, you're not going to get to coach the team (or, it being the NISA, maybe you will, eventually). Jesus.

The NISA experience, it’s like Wrexham but real life.

It seems Chattanooga FC will join MLS Next Pro in 2024. Huge blow to NISA.

So they remain in D3, just moving leagues. Interesting. And the Red Wolves in USL-1..
Our bizarre alphabet soup of leagues and levels never ceases to amaze me.

So MLS Next loses Rochester, announces Cleveland and a team in NC near Greensboro(?)
Still not sure why the independent piece of MLS Next is for other than to be yet another dig at USL since the leagues "no longer work together"

    Huh?

Chattanooga can't join USL, so if they leave NISA MLS Next Pro is the only option.

Well, why not have Chattanooga FC merge with Chattanooga Red Wolfs and call themselves
    Chattanooga United ? :D

Of course they probably couldn't join USL, unless USL wanted 2 franchises in Chattanooga !

I think the Red Wolves owners saw the success of Chattanooga FC and grabbed the USL territorial rights.
