Juve's fans have wanted him out for quite a while so they got their wish.

I think now that they have been penalized 15 points in the standings, it's a good time to leave as their season is pretty much lost anyway.

Sad story for Julian. However I'm a bit skeptical that Barcelona made a casual 18 second mistake. It makes me wonder if somebody in Barca got cold feet and they didn't want to look bad by reneging a verbal agreement so instead they just make it look like an accident knowing that FIFA is strict.

Yeah, but LAFC is now worth $1 billion dollars!

LAFC becomes Major League Soccer's first $1 billion franchise (axios.com)

Meanwhile our lowly San Jose Earthquakes are only worth $450 million...

Not sure if this includes the stadium or not but I think it does.

I thought the franchise would be worth by now.

It doesn’t include the stadium. The Forbes article made it clear it doesn’t include Stadium or any real estate.

Therefore, including the stadium, LAFC is probably now worth $1.2 Billion or maybe more......

By power of deduction, the Quakes franchise and the stadium are then probably worth $650 or $700 million altogether..

Yeah and you keep posting the same thing.

The point of team valuations is to convey how much the franchises are currently worth and/or how much clubs and the league as a rule has appreciated.

That is why Forbes posted the article.

No one mentioned a possible or potential sale.

Actually, if these numbers prove to be true, most MLS owners from pre 2012-15 most likely wouldn’t want to sell.

I wish Fisher would sell to another billionaire.

Though because he’s made a ton of equity since 2008 and stands to make even more with World Cup 2026 on the horizon, I doubt he will want to.

I recall reading a few years back someone made him an offer and he said no.

I think it was before he hired Almeyda.

if we want Fisher to sell, more people in my section need to wave FisherOut scarves at him. That might help a little, make him realize we are sick of how he operates this team. And if we could get someone to capture the moment in a photo where Fisher is facing the scarves, that would be priceless!

Altho, such a shot would probably not be possible with the seat configuration, since he sits in the first row. We'd need a drone to capture such a shot.

Yeah, hopefully, but, it's all going to end up in court, and they got out of it when UEFA investigated them.

No doubt the USMNT will be considering him, but I believe they want to hire a technical director first. I suspect some other club(s) will make him an offer before that happens.

just saw a little of Weston Mckennie’s debut for Leeds vs. Nottingham Forest, he wasn’t much of a factor but he’s going to need some time adjust. Will be interesting to see how he does at Old Trafford on Wednesday.

I kind of feel bad for Weston McKennie.

He only went to Leeds because Jesse Marsch wanted him and I don’t think he was too happy that he had to leave Juventus , even though the fans and the club didn’t seem to want him.

The hope for Juve is that he would tear it up at Leeds so Juve will get the buyout option for him but i's not looking good after one game.
