That’s unfair to the club that’s feeding them tbh

Meh, we're an understanding club. I mean we let Hazard be an absolute bum, never forced him out and he is the highest played player on the team.

We also have players we need to get more minutes like Camavinga and Rodrygo so everything fits.

    Correct

World Cup is only every 4 years

a situation like this with a winter wc very unlikely again

let’s keep the boys happy and engaged

The club has been pretty decent with trying to accommodate players, I mean golfers.

I remember the club letting Ruud leave early because he wanted minutes to try and make the WC team.

This guy needs to do more because we’re badly missing Casemiro.

Casemiro wasn't press resistant for us, in my opinion. I'd put Tchouameni above Casemiro, in that respect.

not impresssed by him to be honest......weak in defense, doesnt bring the conrol of the game we hoped for ....he is such a downgrade to Casemiro,Camavinga looked much bettert than him last season in midfield esepcially in the CL.

That's fair enough i guess although i don't buy into the term as i'm not quite sure what it means, are we less "press resistant" now that he is gone?, any tangible proof of that, regardless IMHO Case brought many other things to this team, i get the good offer, sell now while we can still make money off him and all that, but some wanted him gone years ago, i am not one of them, and i was sorry to see him go

Tchou has just started, he's young and very good, he will grow into his game and the team, a quality player, this constant comparison of players makes no sense to me,

I was merely making a point in response to your original comment about Tchou not being press resistant enough.

Dunno, he was brilliant in the beginning of the season and was at times, Frances best player at the WC. Hes coming off an injury and honestly, not playing with players who can bring out the best of his abilities. I don’t think he’s a true DM, but more of a box to box mid who sits slightly deeper.

This, we say so and so is the new Neymar or the next Ronaldo, it's just not true. These players have different strengths and weaknesses. Tchouameni is very young and having one of the smoothest transitions into our starting 11 in a very long time.

    Fans are fickle

we quickly go from loving players to claim they suck to want them out. Modric and Kroos currently with even Fede and Tchou coming behind them

    We haven't actually transitioned.

What we have done is rely on KCM unless we couldn't do to injury or one of them forcing our hand by requesting a transfer.

    Let's be honest here...

Go back a month and see how Camavinga was under the gun as sink or swim, yet couldn't even get into this team as a starter until injuries. It was why we won last year's.

Injuries forced usage. There was no transition.

Camma got his chance to start, whether by injury or not, he was not doing that well, i can't think of any team in my lifetime who has decent veterans who've won all and still play at a decent level who just sat them for younger players just because they are younger, never seen it, the younger players always have to earn their way in and sometimes, like Jesse, like Martin, like Woodgate, like Sahin, and numerous others, just do not make it.

Camma did well in bits last season as a sub but when given a starting role struggled somewhat, the same happened earlier this season, he has recently hit a good patch of form, IMO transition is playing the old WITH the new not sitting all the vets for the younger players, i can't think of any coach who has ever done that unless as i said before ALL the veterans were no longer producing anything at all on the pitch, never seen it, IMO transition is happening but that's just my view

Camavinga never struggled last year as a starter. He struggled this year and that was due to the inconsistencies which are normal for a player his age.

I also agree that he must be more active and important in the game. Not just pass the ball and make block attacks.

Can't agree with this, some games he didn't even finish, his positioning was suspect and his tackling was rash as a consequence i'd say of his trying to impress, regardless of why he struggled, he struggled at times, IMO his performances as a sub far outstripped his performances when he started, like two different players, at least that's what i saw.

Nah, this is just you being harsh on him because you never wanted him starting.

His first season he acclimated quickly, scored some great goals and as a starter was pretty decent. Kid did this as a teenager.
