Still waiting on fifa to give us the schedule for qualifiers. Assuming that they realize that it's dumb to section us into 2 groups rather than the simple straight forward home and away against each country.
I think the federation should consider switching up the venues for the qualifiers. Bogota and Cali really showed that they have a great crowd. I know it might take a few under-the-table shady bribes for this to happen but sheesh it will be a great move.
whatever, it makes no difference where they play this is always the discussion every 4 years or so, I remember in like 2012 or so they played in Bogota and everyone was crying that it should be Barranquilla and now it looks like its Bogota's turn again.
im just saying they should rotate so people for different regions could get the chance to support their team here in colombia. kind of what brazil and argentina does . jesus
they should just play in different cities, whats the point in having one location? this is basically just for the people who are going to the games i guess
So we are playing Japan and Korea next. Time for possible revenge. I already we are probably hated in Korea still thanks to fat boy Cardona March 24 and 28. I imagine games will be in Asia? If so I know the time schedules are going to suck
Revenge isn't revenge unless it's the world cup. And knowing our luck we may get Japan yet again for the next world cup.
I do recall you mentioning that when we last had that friendly with them. God I could go for some kimchi.
I hate kimchi and the smell makes my stomach roll..... which makes visiting Korea super hard haha. When the wife makes it or her parents do. I go out and eat chipotle.... I am uncultured what can you do?
I was going to say next that im not too into kimchi, it does smell kinda weird. (Sort of like Thai Papaya Salad actually). I love almost everything else though. Bao Buns, Singapore noodles, etc I used to buy miso soup almost everyday
Revenge? As a Japanese Colombian, I've watched Colombia beat up on Japan for years! Including James humiliating Japan in 2014. Japan beat Colombia once on a freak brain fart by our defense... I really can't imagine Colombia is pissed over that. Anyway, I can promise you that Colombia will be treated incredibly well in Japan, eat like kings, and if in Osaka hopefully get to visit Kyoto nearby for some culture too. It's beautiful there, I was just in Osaka and Kyoto over new years with the fam.
I'm from NYC. My parents were both immigrants that met working together in the 70s. There's all kinds of weird combos here! My wife is Israeli, our kids are citizens of the world...
Amazing... I Guess that their palate Is worldwide too? It would ve a dream for me .. growing with all the flavours of the World.
I met a Japanese Colombian in Miami for occasional pick up games on the field. Cool dude and he was often asked questions about his dual heritage.
actually I lied, I did meet a colombian japanese person. Completely forgot, he was from barranquilla, long hair
