    Sad, but he arguably gave Madrid his best and goes out with a bag. A wonderful player to watch when he was cooking. :)

    Pretty much.

    We all know it's about agenda. When Cristiano played his heart out for us and basically went to get paid after being 38-years old he was mocked like he left for money is his prime.

    Would have been better of him to admit it if that would've been his goal instead of pretending that playing for Manchester United Was beneath his standards. Also reaching out to multiple teams in the CL as a lifeboat.

    Well yeah when you're 38 you're past it as a player. It's life.

    It's like someone saying Mesut "quit football" because he couldn't cut it anymore. No, he retired because he played a full career and father time is undefeated.

    In 2015 he did say he didn't want to retire by playing in Middle East or MLS because he wanted to retire with dignity. That was in reference to other players doing so at that time. It was the wrong word choice and came off as arrogant. So you can see how he left himself open for being mocked even if he is 38.

    The triangle theory is the single most ridiculous concept in sports. It never works, fans treat it like a bazooka when in reality it is a huge party gun that pops out a flag that says bang.
