France has the most talent in the world, but I don’t think the France B team is the second best team in the world. Lots of teams would beat them. France B also doesn’t get Mbappe who is one of a kind and their game breaker.
It will be interesting to see if Scally might overtake Dest this cycle. I guess a lot will depend on what the new manager values, club situations, and form but it's not out of the question any longer.
🛬 @iamcadenclark arrived in Leipzig today and will be introduced into first-team training in the coming days. He'll take the number 28 shirt.Good to have you here, Caden! 🤝 pic.twitter.com/GxdRzB1EZt— RB Leipzig English (@RBLeipzig_EN) February 3, 2023
🎙️ Marco Rose on Caden Clark: "He's coming to Leipzig and he'll join the squad. I think he'll need some time. He was injured for a long time. He's a young and talented player who we want to develop. We're pleased that he's coming." pic.twitter.com/QeaTJqzICB— RB Leipzig English (@RBLeipzig_EN) February 3, 2023
Pleasantly surprised, it seemed like maybe they no longer wanted him... still think a loan to Salzburg might be the best next step though.
This is intriguing now that ManU are no longer a disaster… https://t.co/ONiHL11MQq— USMNT Only (@usmntonly) February 3, 2023
Richards, Tillman, now Booth, soon Che… it would be cool to have an American actually break through at Bayern though Chris Richards, Malik Tillman, Taylor Booth. That Bayern academy sure is helping out the #USMNT recently. What a global partnership to have. More coming, watch out for Grayson Dettoni and Robert Deziel Jr 🇺🇸🤝🇩🇪 pic.twitter.com/e1MGMvdD1u— USMNTrev (@Eyesandvibes) February 3, 2023
Extremely. Credit to Ten Hag. It was looking bleak fir a minute. I thought after that 4-0 loss to Brighton it’d be hopeless for him. Maybe he literally just needed Ronaldo pit if the squad. Booth and Dest would be welcome additions. We know he likes dest
You have to give Bayern credit though. They know potential talent when they see it and they don't hesitate to sign it.
Yep. It killed me when Dest when to the mess that was (and still is in some ways) Barcelona over one of the best run teams top to bottom in soccer.
Yeah, he's spent the last 1.5 seasons as a pretty marginal figure on a Metro team that wasn't exactly overflowing with attacking talent.
I also think they would have worked hard to improve his weaknesses instead of talking bad about him in the press all the time.
He's definitely the best coach they've had since Ferguson left and he's really reinvigorated Rashford in particular. But the addition of Casemiro has also just been massive (who they didn't have for those first two games). If they can get a good 9 next summer they might be in a position to mount an actual title challenge. I don't know if I'd want to Booth to go there though. Feels like that's maybe too big a jump too soon. Dest maybe though.
How did Tim Ream turn into maybe our best defender ever at age 35... Tim Ream prevents Chelsea from going up 1-0 with a great goal line intervention! [🎥: @NBCSportsSoccer] pic.twitter.com/nJ9J2nzrDt— USMNT Otaku 🇺🇸 (@USMNTOtaku) February 3, 2023
Ream is the only US player at 2022 who undoubtedly makes a Best XI made out of US players at the World Cup in the team's history.
He does get beat over the top by the player he was marking. A bit more composure by Chelsea and that should have been a goal. However, great recovery by Tim and instincts to head to the goal for the clearance!
Lottery Committee: Hey TheHoustonHoyaFan you just won the powerball of 320M!!!!! How do you feel? TheHoustonHoyaFan: Well, I guess it's ok. A month ago it was 970M so yea...I guess it's ok.
Boehly at the game, glances at whoscored to see how his new signings are doing and sees that whoscored's man of the match is Tim Ream. Ream's performance @ Chelsea shows that his performance in Qatar was no fluke. If only we'd had a midfield in Qatar to go with the rest of the team (sigh). p.s. edit: Boehly's new guys actually look really good and he'll have a great team when they get enough reps together.
It think that's the same # they gave McKennie at Leeds. I don't see Clark losing the 2 on his shirt any time soon. I could see Aaronson at Leipzig if Leeds go down. Fun fact: Marco Rose was actually born in Leipzig - in 1976. He grew up behind the iron curtain, til he was 12.

Excited to get Booth into camp and see if he can play the 8. If he can, that's great for the usmnt. If he's really only able to play on the RW. It's a lot less good. The wings are so stacked.
He's having a great year, but I don't think that a play where he gets burned to set up a goal-scoring opportunity is the best illustration of that.
