Just part of the Republican effort to diminish the status of "academic elites". Anything they can do to make people think less of academics they will do. Because the term "doctor" is respected, they need to strip academics of the term.

Yeah, it was '86, thanks. I was in my last fall of undergrad.

Boston won't have Buckner to kick around any more. I hate they treated him that way..

When I was in school in Boston, he was actually pretty well thought of. Most folks up there forgave him.

There were a couple of isolated idiots. Someone saw his kids' bikes parked in the Buckner driveway and ran over them. Over and over.

And on a lighter note, there was much incredulity and forehead slapping when, late in his career when he was playing for Kansas City, he doubled and then got lifted for a pinch runner: the teams' back up catcher! He said that was his most embarrassing moment in baseball. According to my brother in law... that pretty much shaped the next 48 hours of discussion on all the sports call-in radio shows.

But a year or two later he wrapped up his career in Boston with a couple of dozen games when he was 40 or so. Fans were basically cool.

Since around 2010, and to be fair to Diaby, his uselessness was mostly due to injuries. Haven't updated it since 2016 though

He's so stupid. Everyone knows that the Rothschilds, George Soros and other globalist Jews control the money supply.

Yes, but the question Carlson was exploring is, do the (((globalists))) work for our lizard overlords, or are the lizard overlords surrogate Jews?

There is a season or two of a kids show on PBS, The Odd Squad, that was on during Covid lockdown when I was home with the kids and trying to work remote. Some of the writers/actors form 30 Rock were clearly working on the show. There were a few guest appearances and the jokes were just nonstop and WAYYYYYYY over my 4yr-old's head.

    She hated it. I chuckled.

We deserved 1 or 2 more.

And what really stung is him going to the Bankees and throwing a no-hitter. At this point I'm just glad he hasn't OD'd since the few times he's done reunions he's looking pretty beat up.

I thought it was (Kitara) Rivash, George Santos and the globalist Jew-ish who control the money supply.

Wasn't that Santos was doing a Goldman Sacks? That's what it said on his resume:

Who is the real leader of the Repugnant Party, the GQP???

MSNBC hosts ridicule Republicans for impotence against Tucker Carlson

It was a conversation after former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson spoke before the Atlantic Council when he mocked the Republican Party run by a single Fox opinion host.

"I mean, Ayman, wonderful Republicans aside, like I said, it's hard to disagree with that sentiment from Boris, it is crazy that the GOP, the grand old party, the party of Lincoln and Eisenhower, even Reagan, now lives in fear, not just of a former reality TV star living in a resort in Florida, but also lives in fear of a former bow-tie-wearing frozen food heir, who hosts a daily white power hour on Fox. He now decides the GOP agenda, everything on aid to Ukraine, to the green M&Ms. He sets the tone, he decides the official enemies every night, and you dare not criticize him or cross him if you have an R next to your name. It's kind of crazy. It's kind of embarrassing, is it not?"

Me, I think they’re beyond embarrassment!
