"Player has no significant strengths". Oh well! :)

As for the fouls, I hope we get a little bit of MLS "star" treatment from the refs, like Charra. Yeah, looked like a foul but he's a DP d-mid! He knows what he's doing - not a foul!

Hopefully this works out better than our last big Ecuadorian signing:

Great signing for us. Even more optimism from me.

I cant wait to see how quickly some of you turn on this guy when he starts racking up the fouls and cards. Same for Akapo, Truaco and Rodrigues.

Does he replace Jackson or Judson?

Not sure he should be a DP but he should help.

Good question. This is a quote from Luchi.
"To me, it’s a position we need competition, we need leadership, and we need experience. With his signing, I think we have a midfield that can compete with the best in the league."

I may be reading too much out of it but does it sound like the midfield is set?

I surely hope that he has enough range to cover both Jackson and Judson. Meaning he is the single DM and with Tsakiris as the more attack minded CM. Jackson and Judson will be on the bench.

Possibly, Luchi may stick with Jackson to partner with Gruezo.

I think he’s going to be good for some gruezome tackles.

My guess is that our starting midfield will be Gruezo-Yueill-Monteiro, and we’ll work Niko in as a sub - especially when needing a goal, and rotational starter. In the sub / need a goal context I’d sub Niko in for Jack.

I have this strange feeling. It's kind of a tingle, with um...So, I asked my wife and she said check with my doctor. His diagnoses was "optimism". I told her I haven't felt this way in a while!

I'm switching my alliance to the "Don Tailgate" Team!

Consult your doctor if that tingle lasts more than four hours! :)

Ecuador ranked #41 by FIFA and he only started one game in the last WC. That says something...like maybe he peaked in 2019? Still might help us.

Maybe he has a place to park his boat and he's really proud to show it.
