So after all that drama Edwin Rodriguez will return to Olimpia and Alberth Elis is closer to returning to the MLS.
Diez is reporting that Alberth Elis is being loaned with an option to buy to LAFC via his agent. Almost our entire base will now be in MLS again, hope that Rivas, Rubio are in 1st Division by the summer.
So Alberth Elis will no longer be loaned to LAFC because the option to buy price was too high for them, it’s now being reported out of France that he will be loaned to Stade Brest of Ligue 1. Brest are only 3 points above the relegation zone currently. Imo Elis is better off staying at Borduex since they will likely be promoted by the summer anyways.
Rigo Rivas update: Regina are now in a direct race with Genoa for the #2 spot for direct promotion to the Serie A, Genoa are only ahead of them by a 1 point difference.
Jonathan Rubio update: Academico Viseu have had 3 straight bad results with 2 ties and 1 loss, they currently sit at 5th with 28 points. The are still 1 game behind all others and if the win their next game they will jump to 4th place with 31 points only 2 behind 3rd place and 3 behind 2nd place, the race is getting tighter now.
Yeah it's disappointing, he really wasn't getting a look in. I offset that one with Chirinos moving out there though! Valerio Marinacci dropped down to Serie B as well, and his new club is at the bottom of the table. Not sure if it was a loan or permanent deal though?
Hopefully Alexy Vega has another baller season with Victoria imo he has a real chance of moving in the summer transfer window if he does. I pray that we finally have a good Gold Cup as well.
Honduras will face El Salvador in a preparation match in March, we were supposed to face a South American team but Germany made them an offer for a friendly match and chose that instead.
Con todo! Un sueño y honor 🇭🇳🇭🇳🇭🇳 pic.twitter.com/xSQ9WRfRvE— John Denis (@jmdenis98) February 3, 2023 Look at the names for Forward… Benguche, Aceituno, and Clayvin Zuniga… lol man that’s rough, but hey at least John Denis is w Honduras now for whatever that’s worth.
A new national forward will never break through because all the teams use their foreign spots at that position, still upset that Benguche flopped. I’m tired of seeing the same old names honestly and Rochez was never really given a chance when he was at his peak for whatever reason.
Honduras U-17 doing some real work thus far in this qualifying Very likely that we win our next two games as well and the facing Panama for WC qualification I believe
Nah we Eliminated them from the U20 WC which is more important because many on the team are pros already, sucks that they couldn’t get it done but oh well.
Lost 2-1 but we’ll live. U17s have a lot of very interesting prospects like Munguia, Vargas, and the that tall center back who scored on set pieces
