Why is it that Son can't even beat a single player these days? His stepovers are too obvious..

Lots of good shots today so far at least.

Was okay in the first half. At least he wasnt the worst player on the pitch unlike the last few games.

Spurs really need a 3 man midfield jesus christ. Awful fullbacks and awful centrebacks.

Lloris is terrible- worse than any problem you mentioned. Forster was great- godlike at Celtic, but rotting on the bench of Tottenham ruined him. Instead of Danjuma, Spurs need to get a new GK.

At least Son might regain some confidence from scoring a great goal.

When I realized it was Forster who had made the howler against Brentford, my heart sank. He was world class for Celtic- saving one sitter per game guaranteed. And considering Tottenham's back 3 right now, they need a world class keeper.

EDIT: Yasss! Perišić assisting Son! I know Ivan is hated here, but I love him and Son. I really want both to do well.

He's upfront today as a striker, not on the side. So he didn't need to track down as much. So obviously, more chances for him to shoot.

I actually understand them. They care about Son, but Perišić's playing style is causing issues. I would never go fanboy-mode on Perišić in the comments section of a Korean video- I respect Son and Korea too much. But Perišić is so good he should play right wing back or something, in most games. That way, Son can play his game.

Well, as I mentioned above, Son always needs to track down + switch with Perisic as Perisic is not in our third most of the time. He's playing as a striker today, so it wasnt a problem.

I could tell him to play RWB, maybe? Kane is untouchable as a striker, so Ivan can't go there. I mean, he could just leave the club...:(

It's not Perisic's fault that the manager keeps playing them on the same side when it hasn't worked for half a season. Conte deserves more flak for his awful tactics this season

I think a 3-4-1-2 would be a sensible attempt at improving Tottenham's performance. Son given the license to play roughly centrally and close to Kane, and pick whether he wants to set up shots with his left or right foot. Kuluševski behind them, to help better control the middle, but also to have a better view of the field for his creative ideas.

exactly it is not the fault of perisic but of the coach. If Conte knew how to make them play together, it would have been great to see them play together, they would have done a lot of damage to the opposing teams. As a Japan fan, I wish we could have won against you, but at the same time I'm proud that we only lost to Croatia on penalties.

Yeah. I'm hoping some marbles in his head shift, and he changes tactics. I'm normally a fan of back 3 tactics, but maybe a 4-2-3-1 is the way to go? Doherty at RB is safer than him at RWB. Son could be in front of him, or on the left. What matters is Kuluševski being centrally placed. This wide playmaker thing is weird if nobody is attacking down that side to divert attention from him.

Might as well reveal my wet dream: Tottenham- Napoli CL final. Alas, it is a wet dream only.

lol. Everyone is so fking bad today but Son is a liability for sure. 0 contributions. Awful ball touches and passes.

Perisic is such a bad player. Can't defend shit. Get Reguilon back...
