It’s not just about shooting. We could ask him to hug the touchline over there to stretch them out a bit wider, and open up some space for a Fede or Modric to move up inside at the top of the box for shooting opportunities. Also, Vini can put in crosses from the end line which no one but Asensio of all people seems to do lately. I’m not advocating him being out there a lot, just 15-20 mins a match or so, to switch things up when they are tripling him up on the left.

It seems that next year may be Ancelotti's last year at Real Madrid.

So it wouldn't surprise me if Zidane is back in 2024.
Bellingham is a ZZ superfan, and Mbappe is free in 2024. I think I can guess the 'right' circumstances for him to return.

Would be the most meh choice. I would be ok with it but don’t think his style fits here both from management perspective nor tactics.
Him sticking around for so long might be a tip off though.

Mendy looks like he's out a month, Alaba has relapsed.

We're out all our FBs, with a heavy schedule coming up. I'm not running the club, but boy does it make a lot of sense to just bring in Fran Garcia now instead of waiting until the summer given the playing time he can get here this season.

The club is too concerned about its gentleman image with other clubs that it's very unlikely they'll take someone from Rayo mid-season *sigh*

We don't move unless forced into submission. So we probably need Camavinga to talk about discomforts before Wednesday.

It's absolutely mental we can't try to deepen our squad and we don't use our roster better.

I wonder if this is is the issue or the problem is we can’t find anyone to take our deadweight players and hence can’t make space to register Fran to the squad.

I think we have space left as La Liga allows 25 first team players. We had Bale, Marcelo, Isco and Casemiro leave in the summer and Tchouameni and Rudiger were the signings. So there's definitely two free spots available at least.

Agree with most of this except, Rodrygo is quite capable of crossing from the right too, however no matter whose out wide left or right, there's just not a lot of options to cross to in the box, we just have different players now, crossing was far more important when we had Ronaldo and Gareth, now, IMHO, not so much

He can, but he is almost never out there anyway. He is drifting in to get involved. My point is more that we have no one on the right who actually stretches the defense out. It could be useful.
But I do agree that our aerial presence is almost non-existent, with only Benzy here or there really even troubling the defenders in that manner. Gotta improve on setpieces especially. Militao and Rudiger should Be more than capable of bagging a few headed goals per season.

I'm really hoping Carlo does not waste Cama at LB

Unfortunately, he may have to until one of Alaba, Lucas, or Carvajal returns

It's kinda shocking we have Militao and Rudiger, with Kroos delivering crosses, yet we probably scored 2 goals from set pieces in the last couple of years.

Pity, although i know it's Carlo i see a lot of people calling for Tobias, i imagine that's because he's been doing well in Castilla?, him at RB Nacho on the left?

Don't see any other way if he wants to play Ceballos and Fede with Modric in the midfield. I definitely don't want to see Mendy/LV at LB. And Alaba..well we know the Alaba story.

Rodrygo, Fede and even Asensio are a waste at RW

I was talking about now in our injury crisis, IMO when everyone is fit i'm pretty sure much to your and everyone's displeasure, Mendy will be the LB , so get the caps ready, also i don't know the Alaba story,

As i see it when everyone is fit Cama will play where he belongs, in midfield, his name will be on the teamsheet everytime before Ceballos

All Camavinga needs to do apparently, is tell Carlo that he doesn't want to play LB.

    That's what Alaba did anyway....

Lol, he will give Cama the Rodrygo talk...

The one he would never give Asensio the countless times he has thrown tantrums and went to the media. Instead he praises.

Ancelloti is stubborn there are players even at Castilla that can contribute even if its for minutes.

That's because Kroos is grossly overrated.
