Hunter was obviously fed detailed information on Ukraine so he could show Burisma why he was worth millions of dollars. Was this classified information? Did Joe Biden know about this? Inquiring minds want to know. pic.twitter.com/zFZkpye5Zh— Senator Ron Johnson (@SenRonJohnson) January 24, 2023 while more information is still drip, drip, dripping looks like someone is already connecting dot to dot to dot
you’re right he’s just another politician with an agenda We will see how far he and the GOP can ride this donkey maybe even further then the Dems tried to ride Trump but never got anything to stick (legally) enough to derail him (so far…)
How did Joe Biden “weaponize” this document fiasco? When were the laws making this stuff criminal passed into law? Why is Mike Pence also getting a pass?
So much bullshit based on suspicions, not actual evidence. Burisma could certainly have put Hunter Biden on the board because of who his father is - not because he was supposedly selling information. Where's the actual evidence for the latter? It's not obvious that Hunter Biden is selling access or information. Does that have anything to do with the classified documents in Biden's house? He doesn't know but is more than happy to plant that seed in your mind anyway. Sounds to me like he is more concerned with sowing seeds of conspiracy than he is waiting until the facts are known. Do we know what those classified documents in Biden's garage were? Did they involve Ukraine at all? If we don't know this, then it's probably conspiratorial to just assume they do, don't you think? Seriously, do you ever actually have evidence to back up your BS or is the point just making wild accusations? I mean, you seem to assume that if conservative news media pundits say it, that makes automatically true despite all evidence to the contrary.
Right As I’ve posted about 100 times, hiring someone because of their personal connections and Rolodex is completely legal. see the likes of General Mattis at Theranos. we may find it gross but this is not corruption. End of. the difference with trump is that his kids worked in the white house. So that could be corruption on their part as they were public officials.
But did Trump's kids ever financially benefit from their unethical placement in government positions for which they weren't qualified from the likes of Saudi Arabia?
He didn't. During Trump's presidency, I believe (I'll gladly be corrected by others on this point). Because he's a Republican. Any other questions? I'm still curious as to why marek makes wild accusations without ever doing any actual legitimate research before hand. Actually, I'm not curious as I already know the answer.
I'm failing miserably to find out exactly when it passed, but it is 18 U.S. Code § 1924. What you are thinking of is a bill that was passed by Republicans to prove they were serious about locking up Hillary Clinton after Trump was elected that changed the punishment for violating the law from 1 year in jail to 5 years in jail.
This is what happens when you abscond with literally HUNDREDS of classified documents. He took so many of them, that it could not be helped but to notice. And again, when asked to return them, he could have done so willingly, and this story never happens. The difference is that he told NARA to screw off. No one else did that. That is the issue. But you already know that.
In my rugby chatroom, a guy did a great job of explaining the whole confidental documents issue
Short answer is it depends. Firstly, NARA only has responsibility for classified docs where the agency that originally issued and classified the documents is now defunct. In all other cases it's the issuing agency that controls and manages the documents. Moving on from there...... There's three levels of classified documents. Confidential, Secret, and Top Secret All three are technically classified, and theoretically subject to the same penalties, but there's a lot of realism as to what is a breach and what isn't. For instance, virtually everything issued by the CIA about Putin will be marked as classified at the bare minimum - even if it's just a short one page bio containing facts already in the public domain. No-one gets particularly hung up about Confidential, and there are bucketloads of docs marked confidential that are produced en-masse in such quantity that they are effectively impossible to track. There's a joke in US government circles - Confidential: Press access only. Secret and Top secret are where it starts to get interesting. Secret is information that might be considered to impact foreign relations if it were to become public; as an example, an analysts observations about Macron, particularly if it contained information not publicly disclosed or painted him in a negative light. Secret is usually an issue Top Secret is where you get into the hard core nuts and bolts. You can have Top Secret clearnace, but still only gain access to "Need to Know". For instance a B2 pilot will have access to virtually everything to do with the design, manufacture, and maintenance of his plane and all his weapons (including Nuclear) but wouldn't have any access to any other Top Secret info. Top Secret is definitely an issue It then gets REALLY interesting. "Codeword" clearance is used to simply manage access to special projects. Any docs that are Codeword cleared are numbered. You then also get Sensitive Compartmented (SCI) and Special Access Programs (SAP) that both theoretically sit inside Top Secret. It most accurately describes methods of how documents must be handled (for example in a SCIF) rather than the more general rules around Top Secret (stored in a Safe, marked in and out, etc).
Remember when Hunter Biden’s wife was looking at bankruptcy because she owed a balloon payment on a property loan of about half a billion dollars on a property that was worth nowhere near that amount…and she was bailed out by a property company with ties to the Russian mafia….who’s head of security was an ex FBI agent who was arrested for being on the take from a Russian mobster! #Bidencrimefamily
That's what they do. That's all they got. Tucker, Hannity, Waters, Cruz, Hawley, Boebert, Trump, MTG...fuck, even Nikki Haley as of late. ____________________________________________ He did a great job of explaining the whole confidential documents issue. You sucked at copy and pasting though....
He is an idiot. He is an asshole. He is an incredibly dim and dumb human being. He has never been right about anything, ever. He is "my" Senator.
Did you listen to the PSA episode where she said despite all the focus groups she can't find anyone in support of a Pence presidency?
I have to say, I'm surprised at how thoroughly and completely even the "serious" Republicans are going with the total bullshit system. Telling obvious and provable lies with the rather secure understanding that their audience won't hear the truth. The number of Republicans just crowing over how they defunded the IRS employees when they absolutely did not. The number of Republicans out there spreading Russian disinformation without a care in the world that it will affect their electoral chances in the future. I mean, how do you fight that?
I'm not sure where you were looking, but when I was at UMd 20+ years ago, quite a few professors were making 100k+. And I'm talking the social sciences. We knew this because their salaries were published once a year.
