No, it's an answer. It's even an informative answer: it tells you how extreme right he is that he considers basically everyone here as a raging leftist.
That is NOT the pro-life position. The pro-life position is that there is no such thing as an unwanted pregnancy, as they are ALL part of 'god's plan' for mankind (and I use the 'mankind' over 'humankind' deliberately).
For somebody who believes that life begins at conception, terminating an unwanted pregnancy is seen as the same as terminating an unwanted child.
Exactly, regardless of the "reason" for the individual wanting/needing the termination. Also, anyone who believes that "life begins at conception" is simply wrong about biology and, likely, many other things. Edit: I noticed this is the mass shooting thread. Any additional comment by me will be in the Abortion thread.
What world do you live in? There are many, many people who don't want to terminate an unwanted pregnancy. And that group goes beyond the anti-abortion group.
Can we please move this conversation to the appropriate thread, so we have more space to offer our thoughts and prayers for the traumatized guns being used in these mass shootings? Thank you
It's part to blame on American culture to cut everything in morsels, digestible bits on tv for commercials sake, but it leads to Americans having trouble to stay on topic
I don't think the guns are traumatized. I think the guns are living their best possible life when they get used in a mass shooting. It's what they're made for. Years from now, those guns are going to tell the other guns they come across, "hey, remember that shooting back in 2023 in Half Moon Bay? Yeah, that was me." And the other guns will have this kind of mix of awe and jealousy because they know how unlikely it is they're going to get used in a mass shooting.
I didn't read his post as confined to gun control, but in a larger political sense of playing dirty are whites killing blacks in bigger numbers than the reverse? I am not mocking your position, questioning maybe but if you're gonna need medical attention after reading my posts, maybe you should skip them in the future
My comment still applies. That's not what I said, nor did I infer/imply it. Fair enough. But even in questioning, you are accepting that gun violence is normal and should be accepted. I get angry at the dismissal of gun violence. If you (or @superdave) can't handle it, maybe you should post somewhere else about something else.
As a sign of the times and this thread. I am confused as to which jilted dance partner went on the murder spree. Was it the first or second Cali one?
So that’s why every time we get to a topic we can get our teeth into and discus. Someone starts with the Pizza.
The 1st was a dance hall near LA & almost another one which was interrupted by a good guy without a gun. 2nd was a workplace (farm) near SF. For the yoots out there - workplaces used to be the go-to mass murder hotspots before we branched to schools, supermarkets & houses of worship.
I heard your dad went into a restaurant and ate everything in the restaurant and they had to close the restaurant.
