That’s a long technical difficulty, usually the signal is back in a minute or two. Wonder if ESPN’s ongoing layoffs are starting to hurt the operations
Yea, just noticed the technical difficulties banner -- bummer. And my go to alternate site is now offline as well
Yes, but it just came back on. We'll see how long it lasts this time. Still 1-0 Celta. Edit: and there it goes again. Expecting a rebate.
Got a few minutes before a blue screen of death. Wonder if there's an electrical storm somewhere or something. Very strange. Was all Espanyol from what I saw

On the bench today for a league match vs last place Elche. Important chance for three points in the relegation battle..
He came on in stoppage time after his team went up a man again. So it's still a squad player role ATM - situational sub & cup fodder.
Just watched his minutes. LDLT came on for Cervi as left mid in a 5-3-2. Cervi had a slight limp, so there may have been motivation beyond time-wasting. Both the other midfielders had subbed off earlier. Got the ball once, conservative touches. Wound up being just 3+ minutes. Biggest takeaway: Elche fan base is broken. One relegation spot almost decided. Anything less than 3 points for Celta would have been disappointing.

Came in at the half with his team down a goal. The game ended 1-1. I would say this is a trend with his minutes going up.
He won a free kick in the 68th minute. They then tied the game in the 68th minute. Coincidence? I think not. Yeah, this is going pretty well, despite some hand wringing here and there on BS (because that's what we like to do, wring our hands). He's jumped a level and jumped to a new team, and he's making his way into a more and more important piece of the rotation. I don't know if he'll be starting by season's end, but if not I expect he'll be one of the first guys off the bench. I mean that's pretty much where's he's at already. He's appeared in every game they've played for awhile now.
Could be in line to start: The solid performances of the American midfielder and the Norwegian striker, who made his debut as a scorer after more than 800 blank minutes, suggest that the coach could make some changes to the eleven that faces Javier Aguirre's men. https://www.farodevigo.es/celta-de-...valhal-prepara-efectivos-asalto-81317992.html
I assume this means the coach spoke about Luca: Luca de la Torre also spoke: "We love a player like him. He has strong technical ability, significant speed and is an intelligent player , and we like that. We are very satisfied." https://www.marca.com/futbol/celta/2023/01/19/63c949a722601d01308b4595.html

Congrats to him. Let's see what he can do with it. He's going to get less of these opportunities to shine than most.
Did you mean "more" when you said "less"? Otherwise I confess I don't know what you're trying to say - the club invested just in him, both the front office and the coach are high on him, and they have consistently increased his minutes and role on the team as he's grown acclimated. In any case, I'm happy, though not too surprised, to see him get a start.
He has done everything a player should do. He came into a side that everyone thought was a step to far for him and also had a language barrier and has slowly moved up the ladder and earned his manager's trust and a start. He should be applauded.
