thing is.....its been the case for quite awhile (years) and it took the World Cup people are just now being woke after the Wolrld Cup lol
I'm jealous of how many successful players they have in europe. For now, korea has the top 2 players in Asia in Son and KMJ but Japan have so much quality throughout the team (very few 구멍s).
One of KNT standouts this WC has gone through his military service. It won’t ruin every player. Morocco have showed the way forward for Korea. Well- drilled tactics let a team punch above their weight.
That AFC and FIFA favor Japan is semi-permanent and is Japan's greatest asset but they will run out of luck sooner or later. 1 mm could have knocked out Japan at the group stage and they would have been the greatest disappointment after beating Germany. They may have figured out how to deal with big teams but they have not solved how to deal with Asian minnows who have studied their tactics and will try to replicate them against Japan. Japan may be embarrassed even in the next Asian Cup. It happens so often in soccer. Traditionally Japanese players do well for a few years and have very short high-careers. Kagawa was once considered a far better player than PJS.
The article they quoted says a different thing. They did not say they envied Japan because they are better. They specifically said K League should help the players going abroad.. How low these 토왜 can go? Downright distortion and misrepresentation of what others said to suit their agenda... That is pretty low even for 토착왜구 even under the pretension of seeing the facts as they are. And they claim that is because they really love the country. pure charade very typical of that crowd. Yeah and 조선일보. I guess they are not known as home of 토착왜구.
A lot of KPA were probably better off staying in Kleague. Many KPA had their career stalled by racist managers and cut short by injuries. It’s the Kleague that needs to improve by modernizing tactics and training.
KFA should create a list of Korean-friendly European clubs. Augsburg goes at the top, and players should be advised to try and move there, or places like Freiburg, PSV Eindhoven… Celtic want CGS, and have had 2 Korean players in the past, but currently have 5 Japanese players.
It is the same Moriyasu that tied with Vietnam and lost to Oman. I don't believe a man in his 50's suddenly became a genius. If Japan figured out the tournament why did they lose to Costa Rica? Even the youtube uploader had to mention "luck" as the 3rd important factor or something like that. It was actually the biggest factor. It was merely 1 mm or the camera refresh rate that saved Japan from elimination.
Moriyasu had a reasonable plan for when Japan is considered the underdog. And an even better plan B. Compared to some managers of big teams, he looked like a genius. Substitution usage and squad rotation is something I can only envy him on, from a Croatian perspective. I hope the next KNT manager is as meticulous of a planner for underdog situations as Moriyasu, while outdoing him in performances against weaker teams.
https://n.news.naver.com/sports/kfootball/article/020/0003468603 Wow… Japan has 3900 high school teams and we have only 190…
Well, we can't be expecting the KFA to do one thing right for once now can we? The only thing they did state was that we have a friendly in early March, so in January they will be negotiating with the top candidates followed by the announcement of our new manager in February.
