On a free 100% and he looks like a talent but def a little skeptical of a 18 year old coming into the the EPL and giving us what we need at ST. I love the attention to youth but also concerned we’re not striking the right balance between youth and proven vets in their prime.

Maybe we can convince Giroud he’s still a Chelsea. He’s old and may be easily confused.

Pass on that. I love Giroud but we need to get ourselves a world class ST

We need to convince players we remain a title fighting team. Going to be difficult if we're completely out of Europe next season

There’s still a lot of season left and we’re not too far out of reach. 8 from UCL and 5 from EL. Only 1 point behind Pool in 6th.

Even if we do miss out, Chelsea has historically always bounced right back. I know it’s new ownership but I’m sure that will still carry some weight.

    Outgoing players:

Christian Pulisic (LW/F) Bayern Munich, Milan, Manchester United and Newcastle have asked about his availability. Chelsea will discuss his future with the player in the New Year but the player is happy if he gets to sufficient playing time.

Hakim Ziyech (RW) Milan remain very keen on the player but not the wage demands. His World Cup has put him in the window. Should be some interest in him soon.

Armando Broja: Chelsea striker out for season with anterior cruciate ligament injury.

Jao Felix linked with us in a January move. Felix is a player of great potential, still he is 23 so that potential should be happening about now. He would be an upgrade on Ziyech maybe? our priority should be how to find a striker that would be better than Aubamayangy.
Jao Felix is not the player we need imho. We would do better with Raphael Leao. But Felix starts ahead of RL for the Portugal national team. Just the physicality of Felix is not so great and the Prem is physical.

Chelsea in striker crisis? Or just general crisis?

David Datro Fofana for £8.6million. The new Drogba apparently. Cheaper than our other Fofana so there is that to consider.

Memphis Depay also an option apparently. Arsenal and Chelsea both after him. Both in need. Personally, not a great fan of Depay, but he still looks much better than Auba. We ended up with Auba due to his special relationship with Tuchel and now here we are we have a player past his prime who has yet to deliver anything for us.

Diego Moreira (LW) Benfica youngster on Chelsea's vision list of players.

We continue to be linked with Felix. And he will not be cheap.

Consider the source, but ESPN is also listing Dusan Vlahovic, the big Serb from Juventus. He was stuck behind Milosovic on the WC squad but put 40 in for Fiorentina before moving to Juventus. Apparently the legal and org troubles of the club may make some players more available?

The new Wonder Kid on the block is. . . .Vitor Roque. Chelsea are trying to sign him.

Vitor Roque 17. . . he will be 18 in Feb. Which is important as 18 means a lot in terms of his work permit, etc. Roque is considered to be the new Neymar although he is humble. Humble. Apparently. Nope, he is the NEW Ronaldo.

and a decent world class striker and hey we could even challenge for the league again, maybe?

Kante wants to join Barcelona at the end of the season apparently. Chelsea retirement club. Earn good money playing in a really easy league and listen to all your favourite choons on spotify.

Zero chance we land all 3 and there isn’t a WC striker on the market.

He’d have to play a game for this to matter. He’s been immense for us but just can’t stay healthy anymore. It’s time to let him go.

However this operation might just have him back to his best. He is a very skilled player in addition to his ground covering aptitude

Anyone else just get the feeling that we’re all over the map without a real plan in place for the transfer window. Like yes, we’re getting some interesting pieces but there doesn’t seem to be a rhyme or reason to it.

Chelsea have agreed to pay Vasco a €20 million (£17.5m) fee to sign Santos.

Andrey Nascimento dos Santos (born 3 May 2004) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Chelsea.

Yeah, we have signed a lot of young midfield players lately and Bellingham wants to go to Real Madrid. We are not going to get him.
and De Jong will stay at Barcelona.

    Gakpo?

Jude won’t go to Real. They already have 2 top class young CMs and 2 top class older ones. It’s too crowded. Jude is likely going to Pool who desperately need a CM like him.

De Jong likely stays. He’s been massive for Barca and they don’t really have anyone who can replace him.

Gakpo is an interesting player. I wouldn’t call him WC as to me that means they’ve been doing it a top level for multiple years. I would say he’s a WC talent tho. I know semantics. Anyways, he isn’t really a ST. At least not the line leading striker we need. He’s more of a second striker, CAM, LF/RF type. I believe he’d struggle just like Kai does as we don’t really utilize that type of player.

It has been less than 6 months since the new boys have been here, far to early to have the slightest clue what is the Plan. The press is clueless, so why judge off the press speculations. The old plan was Drinkwater , Bako, Barkley, Roman, etc. so this summer seems a good step up. Love all the serious buying and interest in young potential. All the summer buys I liked, Fofana expensive and I think the most questionable buy at the price, but who knows yet, and Auba another striker where the question is the system or the striker or age ??? .

I think we have a more cohesive medium to long term-time plan than in a long while, the question being whether they, and the fans apparently, have the patience to see it through.

Joao Felix ON LOAN for the rest of the season with an option or obligation to buy in the summer?

I mean currently are attacking players are really under performing. Sterling, Pulisic, Ziyech, Havertz and Auba. Have all looked rather ordinary.
