Yeah, I noticed from today's game that they initially had Oboavwoduo down as missing the pen before changing it to Nwaneri.
Anyone know much about this lad? It appears he's hasn't played for England yet. Alfie Harrison (16) with another Hat-trick for @ManCityAcademy Haaland Jr on fire 🔥 pic.twitter.com/FT7P2hic85— TheSecretScout (@TheSecretScout_) November 8, 2022 Erling Haaland's regen is playing also for Man City and is also scoring goals for fun.Alfie Harrison is playing for Man City U18 and as a midfielder he has 3 goals and 2 assists in 5 games this season. At the age of 16 Alfie already trained with Man City's first squad.🔵😍 pic.twitter.com/75crI2ib2k— Pro Future Stars (@ProFutureStars1) October 31, 2022 Playing from midfield too.
This Man City group look so strong, some really good players not really seen much around England set up strangely. Profile possible reason as a few excellent looking players but physically behind lots of lads you see at U16,17,18 in England set up. They comfortably beat Chelsea last season on way to winning pL cup yet Chelsea kids all over England set up. Also seem to have made really positive start in PL North with lots of first year scholars in side.
There’s definitely something in the physical profile point you make. See it across the youth England teams and camps - Very few less physically matured lads in the groups at these ages.
Hi guys random shout but does anyone know anyway or anyone that can help me watch back the U17 Euros 2017, the group that got to the final vs Spain but lost second (with Sancho, Foden, Hudson-Odoi, Brewster etc). I really enjoyed that tournament... please anyone knows any links/torrents/downloads to any of the full matches of England in that tournament.. it'd be much appreciated Deno
Myles Lewis-Skelly makes his first start for the U21s v Stoke. Looks like he could be playing at left-back. pic.twitter.com/y9uILiH8k9— Jeorge Bird (@jeorgebird) November 19, 2022
Played as an inverted full back. Maybe possible instruction from Arteta before he goes with the first team to Dubai for winter break training. Impressed in that position but I feel his ball carrying and physicality makes him best suited to the No.8 role but he can play a number of positions well nonetheless.
England just missed out on being in Pot one for the elite section. Looking at getting one of France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Netherlands or Belgium in the qualifying group. Would also probably want to avoid Poland in Pot three given the disastrous result in September. Apparently next month England will play Germany twice at Pinatar Arena.
Drew a group of Netherlands, Denmark, Northern Ireland. Tough group with Netherlands being the dominant under 17 team in recent years, while Denmark are usually a tough game. To fail to qualify for 2 in a row really would be shambolic.
Lewis Miley was included in Newcastle's first team squad that travelled to Saudi Arabia. Came on as sub in the friendly today for the last 20 mins or so.
If we are talking just 2006 age players I would say my standouts are Myles Lewis-Skelly, Archie Gray and Tyler Dibling. Others here have seen a lot more of this group though.
Talking about Nwaneri and Lewis - Skelly. Arsenal’s 16 and 15yo Myles Lewis-Skelly (L) and Ethan Nwaneri (R) in action last night in Dubai Arsenal doing everything they can to secure both players.Still no news if they have signed a scholarship. Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City keen to sign pic.twitter.com/97YZO27Npg— TheSecretScout (@TheSecretScout_) December 9, 2022
Joel Ndala ripping up PLNorth. Think he’s was in England u18 last time out but sure he will be back with U17 squad for Euros
Think there might be question marks about his eligibility for the Euros given he's foreign born. May have been the reason why he wasn't in the squad for the qualifiers despite being fit.
Watched him in the FA Youth Cup game against United & he was absolutely electric. Really impressed & he only joined from non-league not that long ago.
