I am going to revisit this topic. A few years ago, the topic of Sancho was brought up. Someone who was not a regular here said that Perez would never field an all-Black forward line of VJ, Rodrygo and Sancho, It did not sit well among us. That topic had gotten me. Since then, I have kept that in mind. This current team also have Mendy, Militao, Rudiger and Alaba.
Davies is really, really good. He wouldn't miss a beat here, but I think his next move is the EPL. I'm a fan of Mendy, he completely shuts down that left side. People seem to have a problem with Mendy cause he isn't prime Marcelo going forward. Criminally underrated player.
He can't come to Europe until he's an adult, and I wouldn't let anybody anywhere near Sevilla if that weren't the case. Toxic club.
Mendy hasn't shut down a thing this season. He has been a liability on the defensive end. If he can't even perform perform that portion of his role he should be shipped out.
https://www.espn.com/soccer/soccer-...e-deal-to-sign-endrick-from-palmeiras-sources Espn sources say Endrick to Real Madrid is a done deal. If true, this is a sensational W for Real Madrid. Xavi the grass analyst was even talking Endrick up to convince him. Glad the young teenager didn't fall for those swindlers. I was worried when PSG and Chelsea tried muscling into the deal. Even though they drove up his price, hopefully he's worth it. From what I've read, he's exceptional at a young age. Hyped! One of the hottest prospects on the market, and after Haaland and Mbappe, we needed to search for the next best thing and pounce.100% the right move imo given the current football climate.
The thing is, Endrick is much more of gamble than Mbappe & Haaland. Hope he pans out though. And City and PSG having those two most likely had a huge influence where he signed. Speaking of the great Roberto Carlos, It would be hilarious if he never grows another inch and turns out to be a fullback.
Anyone else slightly concerned about Endrick's height? In theory, he's still got another 2 years to grow.
I disagree on this because Mendy’s defensive form has slipped this season — he just hasn’t been as good in his own half. That said I also can appreciate a shutdown fullback which is what he’s been for most of his time in Madrid.

Fair enough, that means we may have to ship quite a few players out, i can think of at least 5 players off the top of my head who haven't been anywhere near as as good so far as last season or maybe this is just a rule for Ferland.
Especially if that rumor of a buyout is true. I think the guy has shown he is a monster. Only 21. Not even complicated. Don't renew Nacho, sell Mendy, move Alaba permanently to LB with Miguel, then have Militao, Gvardiol and Ridigier share the two CB positions for the next two seasons, slowly phasing out Rudi.
I was thinking of Aguero the other day and was wondering why there haven't been more comparisons (outside of nationality) given Endrick appears to be a shortish but strong striker.
Yeah people mistake the whole thing about man CAN grow up to certain age with WILL most of us are done at 17 lol
I’m good with all this but Alaba doesn’t seem keen on it. Hard to get around that. Also, I’d be open to either Miguel or Fran Garcia as the other LB. Either would work well and can grow.
Tbh Endrick would probably only grow another 2 inches max, unless he gets one of those crazy growth spurts. The next Roberto Carlos for sure.
He's only 1 CM shorter than Rodrygo right now. Roberto Carlos was 5"6. _____ 🚨🎖| Eden Hazard is interested in joining the MLS after this season ends. @Santi_J_FM— Madrid Xtra (@MadridXtra) December 9, 2022
