Don’t like option to buy set ups. Earn your keep. Earn a full transfer.

You shouldn't be making loans to teams unless that player is projected to help the club right away. MLS organizations should have learned that lesson the hard way already.

Have players learned that? Might be difficult to explain it to them.

They don't make the decision at the end of the day, outside of vetoing options beyond MLS.

Even if the players haven't figured it out this was a bad strategy, clubs should to get a return on their investment. Thus it'd behoove them to only accept full transfers or loans not beyond the player's pay grade.

They should. If they have enough minutes for the player, and believe his price will increase. What's not necessary the case for this kid. Playing MLS Next does nothing for him. He might be not a blue chip prospect.

This source (take its credibility with a grain of salt) says he's ready to sign in Germany:

Third. It was reported that RBW trained with Freiburg. According to my sources he will join the club when he turns 18.

Rumor that Wolverhampton is taking a look:

English Premier League club Wolverhampton is scouting Seattle Sounders homegrown duo Obed Vargas and Reed Baker-Whiting, sources with knowledge of the situation tell The Athletic. Sources were granted anonymity as they are not cleared to discuss the details publicly.
