  7. "Before their fifth knockout appearance at football's most prestigious international tournament, Biden sent a message of good luck to the national team on social media. After clever editing made it look as though the president had caught a ball launched by midfielder Tyler Adams, he said: "It's called soccer! Go USA. You guys can do it."

In response to the video, Dutch PM Rutte couldn't resist a cheeky dig as he wrote on Twitter: "Sorry Joe, football won
    ."

It should be Morocco-Spain-Portugal. Don’t know why Ukraine got bundled, it’s not a neighboring country (which makes me think they are taking advantage of that war for financial gain).

If it wasn't FIFA, I'd say no... But you're right. All they care about is $$$$ and I doubt Ukraine would benefit unless they have some agreement where they wouldn't have to pay anything...

    That ain't happening with FIFA.

There will never be another Maradona. There will never be another Pele.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi do not deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as these two. Maradona had his demons but him and Pele gave so much of themselves...

    Brought joy to billions.

Cristiano and Messi are complete cvnts by comparison. More goals without ever having to play against real hard men in an age where hard men could break legs and not even be carded... Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that is mostly gone from football but those idiots had many advantages that older players didn't...

They really are cvnts compared to the Old Gods. I wanna puke anytime Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo are called GOATS (They're more handsome tho:rolleyes:).

They're GOATs at hair products and men's grooming...

M'Bappe has already equaled or surpassed those fools and looks like the only one who can supplant O Rei or Maradona as true GOAT. Haaland unfortunately won't get the opportunity unless Norway qualifies to future World Cups... Not his fault tho for not being from a top ten football country...

Ronaldo (Fenomeno) would have surpassed them both had he not been sidelined by his knee injuries.

The other player who had it all was Ronaldinho. For the few years that he was at his peak he was really the greatest ever. All the charisma and personality too. It's too bad he didn't have the discipline to stay at the top.

I was going to say this. I think that Messi also could have played in any era and been a great. I'm not convinced Cristiano could.

I think the Iberians think Morocco is beneath them. They asked the Spanish commentator on Telemundo who she was rooting for between Portugal and Morocco and she said Portugal because they were neighbors. The other woman pointed out that so was Morocco.
