Do you have an idea when these Stadium Storage lockers open up for taking luggage in?

Like can I go do this at 1-2 PM tomorrow for the one in Lusail (The game is at 10pm) ?

I have M55 as well at 6pm so want to avoid taking the luggage around for both games.

 

This basically happened to me. I was considering a cab but I remembered that the 974 bus hub is very close to the stadium so I took my chances there. Didn’t miss a goal in Bra-Kor, but I did miss kickoff. No big deal.

 

I left my seat around 5 minutes after pens ended. Made it to 974 at 22:01 - didn’t rush, didn’t run.

Pro tip - If you see a queue for an S2S bus, don’t panic, it moves very quickly.

Today we have the last matches at Al Janoub and 974. My first point is that it seems there are more and more people going by car or, most likely, going by taxi/Uber and the driver decides to stay in the parking lot to get a passenger at the end of the match. As such parking has become more time consuming than in previous matches. Also more and more people are trying to do both games in the day.

First, I made the mistake of leaving too late for the first game, because I forgot to factor that Al Janoub is one of the farthest stadium. I must have arrived at 17.40, but took me 10 minutes to park because of traffic and more cars. So I got to my seat at 18.05.

After deciding to stay for extra time and penalties (for me, the Croatia v Japan match in those circumstances was way more interesting than being at the start of Brazil v Korea), I left the game 2 minutes after the last penalty. I believe it was 20.50 or something. I started my car at 21.15 minutes, and given than last Friday I got to Stadium 974 in 15-20 minutes, I assume dI would arrive basically on time. I was wrong. Traffic near 974 was nuts, and then parking was also nuts, as there is only one parking lot, so everybody was going there. I parked at 21.50, and as my parking spot was farther than last Friday, I got my seat in the bleachers at 22.20, with Brazil up 2-0.

Tomorrow I have Education City and Lusail. I have not been to Lusail before, so I will complete my visiting the 8 stadiums. As I have said in a previous post, ECS had been one of the stadium I hated most, because parking requires taking a bus or tram. And i have read that the same would be at Lusail, unless I park 40-50 minutes away. Any suggestions (@vibrantcolours?) would be greatly appreciated.

 

I purchased some better tickets for a game I was attending with a different ticket application number, is it possible to sell the others from my initial purchase? Do I have to sell all tickets to the game at once?

 

You can sell some or all tickets from the other application.

 

I was arriving at the airport so I walked back to the terminal jumped in a taxi, got him to drive me to my apartment at Umm Gawalina, dropped my bags there and told him to wait out front, then jumped back in the taxi and he drove me to the stadium at Al Janoub. We made it to the match in plenty of time.

 

Since i am back to full health, I am also planning to do Education city to Lusial. Education city is the worst for self drive. Also today will be a trial run for Quarter finals, since both Argentina and Brazil play on the same day and do not want to miss both matches.

My plan is to go by metro. Exiting Education city usually takes 30 min to board train, as there will be a long Que. If the match do not go to extra time, 2 hours is ample time to reach Lusial in metro. I have not don S2S, so cant comment. Entry to Lusial, i felt metro is the fastest, this is the reason i am doing the first part by metro, Exiting after a match it takes time in metro, so i will have friends who are not doing two matches drive, I will hope in with them. Well thats my plan.

 

Well, we are in the Maldives now, but we will be in the clusters next week, until the day after the Final.

I haven't kept an eye on the drops recently, but planning to get back into now that we are only a week out. Does anyone know if there are regular 100 level drops for semi finals – is it worth looking out for those? I have M61 and M62 but in the upper tier, and want to upgrade.

Also, is there any good place to have a drink near Al Bayt? It looks like a trek out there, so I'd prefer to get there early and find a place to have beer nearby rather than do it in central Doha and risk a delay on transport out to the match...

Lastly – and forgive the German question – is there anything at all resembling a proper beer garden in Doha?

 

There are drops happening on the resale platform but it seems they're getting botted straight away for any in demand game unfortunately (just saw a Mor vs Spain drop of 2 pages gone with the next refresh)

 

There is one, but I wouldn’t stress. It’s literally impossible to cart anything. Resale not worth logging in anymore. FCFS is the way to go.

Yeah, Morocco-Spain and Portugal - Swiss have been dropping since around 2:30am EST,,, No other tickets have dropped. Very frustrating as I stayed up to try to get a ticket and have been refreshing every few seconds for last 2 hours to try to get a ticket but alas, it's on this day they decide against releasing during the expected hours

 

How do you know when there's a fcfs release?

I think this has been mentioned by some folks earlier. The hustle to get out of the departing stadium is the key.
I brisk walk mostly and a couple of evenings back, I did the 2.5km walk to the bus hub at Al Thumama in less than 9 mins/km avg, as I was super concerned about missing kickoff at Al Bayt.

Last night, I left after taking pics of the Croatia team celebrations right after their victory, at our end (20:43). I then brisk walked for the most part and jogged for maybe 20% of the route to the bus hub (20:53).

I was a bit panting as I got into the bus, but the 30 minute ride was enough for recovery and some fun talk with the fans.
I passed through the 974 turnstiles at 21:43 and got to my seating area before the anthems- The Brazil official supporters had taken over my row A lower bowl seat & the rows/block altogether; But I love standing up to watch & it was perfect with the Brazilian fans!
I can't see this short turnaround happening in any other place!

Yeah the problem for me is I have no idea when FCFS is dropping

I wonder if FIFA would just put more Captcha onto the resale platform to fix the botting at least temporarily...
