Holy crap you're literally lying now. They had two shots to the posts, a header in 1st half and a Valverde shot in the 2nd. And that wasn't the only chances they had. It was a bad performance but saying "not one decent chance" is a straight up lie. Come on mate, it's very obvious that Uruguay is a better team than Ghana and Korea yet they were rightfully eliminated. Both facts can be true.
How is it obvious. Ghana did better than Uruguay in both their other matches. The were their own worst enemy against Uruguay. They psyched themselves out , especially after missing the PK. There isn't anything obvious about it.
Uruguay are very decent when they feel like going forward, issue is part of their football culture is to be very compact defensively and sometimes they take it too far and forget that they need to attack to win lol. Diego Alonso is just not good enough as a manager
Brasil is almost guaranteed a final. EDIT: My mistake. They meet Holland/Argentina in semis. At this point Holland is the only team with a shot IMO.
