Totally agree. Hoping things pick up later in the knockout rounds with some upsets. We only had one game go into ET which is crazy. I’m rooting for the Netherlands at this point
I would gladly tolerate any kind of dancing if it only meant that Germany scored as much. On the topic of terrible dance moves, NO ONES comes close to the Peter Crouch robot dance. If I have to see that once more, I'd gouge my eyes out with my nails.
Hardly disrespectful. Its more an outpouring of spontaneous joy. Okay an outpouring of choreographed joy. I'd much rather watch the opponent dance than pull a Ronald Koeman like stunt. There are sore losers. And there are sore winners and the Dutch squad of EC88/WC90 was just that.
🎙️ Roy Keane: "I think it's disrespectful dancing like that every time they score. I don't mind the first jig, or whatever it was, for the first goal, but not every time. It's disrespectful. Even their manager gets involved. I don't like it."#BRA | #KOR | #FIFAWorldCup pic.twitter.com/E8ZhFUVRyf— Football Tweet ⚽ (@Football__Tweet) December 5, 2022
South Korea are defending with 2 banks of 4 and Brazil are forming triangles to pierce through them. Korea's front two don't defend. It's so naive. When you are playing against a vastly superior team, you should be deploying a 5-5-0 formation with everyone in and around their own penalty box.
Tis a special kind of sad if I have to watch the WC and there is no team Germany in it for the most part. Not used to this at all.
Not going to lie, I thought it was him too... 🧐 #FIFAWorldCup #Qatar2022 pic.twitter.com/c30zBsVYNP— FIFA World Cup (@FIFAWorldCup) December 5, 2022
From your lips to God's ears. But why did Fifa let it happen this time and last time? We aren't paying them enough?
This aint fair to be honest. South Korea have had a 3 day rest compared to 7 days for the Brazil's first 11.
Korea won the second half at least… Kind of a shame Dani Alves didn’t score that volley, would have been Brazil’s oldest ever scorer in a WC lol.
and this ends Asia at WC. Morocco is now last outside 2 continents. Brazil against Korea Republic pic.twitter.com/ElfyP3Ddod— Fledgling (@FPLFledgling) December 5, 2022
26 - Brazil have now used all 26 members of their squad at the 2022 World Cup (including three goalkeepers), becoming the first side in World Cup history to use as many as 26 players at a single edition. Contribution. pic.twitter.com/BidgkRss4Q— OptaJoe (@OptaJoe) December 5, 2022
Because i will be going to the games and cause a scene if it happens again just look out for a young fan
Could still be an Argentina v Brazil SF. So far 6/8 last 16 ties have all been won by the favourites. Tomorrow’s matches look the most likely to produce a shock, Morocco and Switzerland could be dangerous.
Portugal v Switzerland should be a good match, you just feel that if Portugal click they have the superior firepower. An early goal would really help, either that or Ronaldo winning a pen . The Swiss did a good job shutting out Brazil and were excellent v Serbia. I definitely feel like if Portugal win they have the talent to come through that bracket and make the SF minimum.
