2006 WC, they play 4 matches concede 0 goals and then PK shootout in R16 and 3/3 misses.
both are WC records for a NT, going out of WC conceding 0 and missing every PK in shootout, LMAO.

 

Japan players penalties were all hit so softly. Do they not practice them or something?

 

given their size and height, is it surpising that they lack power in their PKs. Just looking at the players coming to take PK I had a feeling they would flop.

this is a good example of why I miss Germany 90s-00s players. Current generation all around are shit at PKs and not very convincing. Even Crotia PKs weren't that great.

 

Livaja’s penalty was clownish btw. Casual chip against the post. Lucky for him it didn’t matter.

It's too easy for Brazil. Uruguay would have been a tougher opponent. Diego Alonso f*cked up badly.

 

Does anyone think these round of 16 games overall haven't been fun to watch? probably one of the worst round of 16 games in a while.. no thrills or nervy games most have been over by halftime
