Thank you for this. How early does boarding start prior to the flight? I’m getting out of Lusail, and your detailed answer has given me a TON of insight

Seen Brazil fan stadium walk mentioned a few times on here before just wondering is it for every Brazil game and where abouts would it be for the game at 974?

I’ve been on the hunt for m55- seems like very few being dropped unlike for the other Rof16 games.

OK, so let me report my experience with going from Al Thumama to Al Bayt, starting with saying that it is totally doable. Also, I am not in the fittest condition, and have blisters in my feet, so I am walking slowly.

As I told you, I was more interested in France v Poland, so I waited till the French players finished their celebration. I should have left my seat around 20.10, and got to the parking lot around 20.35. Left the parking around 20.40 and got around Al Bayt around 21.20. But as it was my first time in Al Bayt, I did not know the traffic closures, so I managed to park around 21.35. Then I realized one mistake: I had chosen the parking that was closest to the stadium (to walk less), but I should have chosen the one that was closest to my gate (which was on the other side of the stadium). Given my current physical condition I chose to walk slowly, and even stopped at one stand to buy something to eat, and was at my seat at 22.10.

For next Saturday, regardless of what match is played in Al Thumama, I plan to leave around 19.35, in order to be At Al Bayt around 21.30. I will also plan the drive better.

Has anyone had any experiences getting access to healthcare while in Qatar? I have some symptoms of strep throat and would like to be checked out and prescribed antibiotics if needed, but not sure how easy getting these would be and if there is anything else that should be taken into account. Thanks!

Who did the trick with putting last ticket on resale and cancelling , after you transfer ticket to someone else, did you able to send ticket back (for testing) ?

another Qatar special is blasting music in public spaces so loud you can’t have a conversation. One of the joys of walking through Lusail or the Pearl at night.

I have been to all stadiums, at least two times by now, and Al Bayt is my personal favorite. Do that if you get ticket and time.

You did not make a mistake, If you parked in parking A which is closer to the stadium that was the right decision irrespective which ever gate you have. Trust me, parking B and C, when you have difficulty walking, is not an ideal parking space, they make you walk zig zag to reach the bridge, Brisk walk usually take 30 min. Always choose parking A, if you have difficulty walking.

Same here. I would have to agree that Al Bayt is a fantastic stadium - but being the furthest away is a PITA. Frankly I like all the smaller stadiums: Amad Bin Ali, Education City, Al Janoub, Al Thumama, 974. These are all fantastic venues for watching soccer. Khalifa is also nice if you're not in the endzones. Lusail is great for a large stadium, but alas in large stadiums one is too far away from the action. Simply put, the stadiums for this World Cup are outstanding.

Does anyone know if they're running StS buses from Al Janoub to 974? I would like to try both matches today and am wondering if I should walk out to the bus hub or go directly for a taxi?

Its a very easy combination. I drove, if you are on public transport, and the first match goes to extra time, get one of the taxi touts and ask them to drop you off at the location i marked in the map (Red Circle). it will save you at least 15 min from the designated Taxi drop off point (Yellow Circle).

Got it and thanks. Yeah the taxi parking area is a long walk - already did it once and not again. Looks like the bus hub is much closer! Maybe the StS bus is the best option...

For Brazil fan activities follow this Instagram account: https://www.instagram.com/movimentoverdeamarelo/?hl=en

They are meeting at 900 Park in West Bay today. I went to this same event before the first match (M16 BRA-SRB), and twice to their pre-match events in Russia 2018. It is a good time, largely Brazilians but some neutrals. Good food & drink options, large projector screen. I was able to buy tickets at the door prior to M16. Say you are part of the fan group and flash the IG page on your phone. I'm not sure if they have the exact same deal for today, but 2 weeks ago it was 100 QAR and came with 2 drinks included. I haven't been able to attend the last 2 pre-match events as I was travelling.

Optimal time to be there would likely be 3-6pm. I'm not sure exactly when they will leave for 974 Stadium, my guess would be sometime between 6-7pm. I'll be at M53 by this time anyways so I haven't tried to get an exact estimate.

Feel free to DM me with questions. I'm not Brazilian but my sister-in-law is as well as my ex-girlfriend who went to Russia 2018 with me, so I can try to help!
