I thought they got rid of that delay or that stutter step.

Man, the referring is so god damn inconsistent.

No one in their right mind would compare Mbappe to Messi. Messi is in a different stratosphere.

Mbappe is a great striker though

We beat Poland far more convincingly and people said “Meh, it is only Poland. Big deal!” When France do it “Oheee, Ahhhh, who is going to stop France?”

Unfortunately Christina there are many who are doing exactly that. The same blockheads who think Crybaby is better than Leo. These people have no understanding of what genuine skill is versus physicality and pace.

Torn this evening. Might be better if England won because they can beat France. Senegal have done it before but then again they could easily implode.

    Shame it isn't Ecuador tonight.

Not only that, he’s laughing and joking around after the final whistle blew. I get it, Poland is not gonna win the tournament but at least pretend you care you’ve been knocked out.

Yeah, he’s one torn ACL injury away from losing that burst.

    He’s very unlikeable.
Well if Senegal do it, it will be France v France’s rejects/I’d Rather Represent the home of my Family.

About 12 of Senegal’s players were born abroad, I think 10 or so in France.

Don't quite understand why you need to criticize Mbappe or say things like he won't be good when his legs go or that he only scores goals. I genuinely enjoy watching the guy play, just enjoy him until he plays Argentina in the final. 9 World Cup goals at 24 and 5 in this World Cup leading the golden boot race...

Now Lewandoski on the other hand should be ashamed.... He's gonna tell his grandkids one day "I scored against France on a meaningless penalty when score was 3-0, first one was a joke of a penalty that was saved, they let me take it over and I did the same ludicrous hop, skip, and jump and scored and pumped my fists" that was just embarrassing. I thought that after the first atrocious effort was saved he wouldve put his foot through it, but no.

For those that watch Barcelona or have watched Bayern over the years, does he always take penalties like that? Its just embarrassing

It's true as much as I hate him. I said this in 2018 Mbappe will be the best after Messi. He is still stoppable and very predictable. This cut and shoot is his most used trick at psg he ALWAYS looks for this curling shot which he does very well. He is stoppable tho we have seen it with defenders that anticipate his movement he can be nullified.

I do not think anybody is doubting the Ninja Turtle’s talent, it is his attitude. It is difficult to root for such a character.

The 98 French side was easy to root for, as was the 06 team that fell just short. This side? Yikes…

:D. He's incredibly unlikeable. An overweening arrogance in himself and that usual Gallic arrogance. Especially that stupid celebration sums him up.

Pity. The whole dressing room could be fighting each other again. That would be perfect.

I’ve never enjoyed this corny preplanned celebrations. The dancing and other aspects. You’re not a circus act, stop behaving like one. If I were a defender and saw such a thing and knew the game was over, I’m eating a red and he’s probably missing the match. I think hard nose defenders need to send a message that they cannot pull off such a stunt. This would discourage them the next time they scored. You cannot show-up your opponent with that type of celebration.

    Headline: France destroys Poland

When we won with same goal difference and had a dozen chances near the end while Poland never even threatened. When half the world is your hater lmao pathetic

Mbappe is obviously a generational talent, but to me, extremely weird to assess.

His one touch is pretty bad at times, and his dribbling is also very awkward at times.

His shooting and speed are obviously off the charts.

I just can’t stand the arrogance.

And we barely gave Poland a sniff. This French team can be got at. Lloris is always ready to make an error and their entire defence is not the defence of a Desailly, Blanc, Thuram and Lizarazu.

It can be exposed. Poland did it several times by quick overloads getting to the byeline and having midfielders on the edge of the area. That youngster Kaminski for instance was excellent and won't be at Wolfsburg for long. Garnacho could have been that for us.

But again our WBs and the likes of di Maria will if it comes to that have to stretch the defence.
