the question really is how many of core will still be there come U19, U20, U21. Wanner already forcing U21 now. Once more breakthrough 1BL there will be temptation for early U21 call ups too.

I fear, U17 Euro might have been last time we got most of them together. Aseko was injured so missed tourney. Still think a fit Aseko could have seen us beat France too.

but the fun of U21 gonne be the whole fusing 04s and 05s together for 2025-2027. That's gonna have loads of potential for sure.Add 04+05s and your entire D is packed of players too for quick example.

-Union Berlin is worst 1BL club in Germany when it comes to Academy chances as coach Fisher isn't an integration coach at all and no II team. So far closest to 1st is 04 M Kemlein.
    https://www.bz-berlin.de/berlin-sport/union-berlin/union-talent-kemlein-kurz-vor-dem-durchbruch

so far from U19, focus gonna be on 04 GK Stein, 04 CB Bruns, 04 M Kemlein, 04 CF Sanogo. 05 M Schleinitz also attracting attention

    RL
-Massive win for Pauli II who are relegation candidates with 02 M Roggow (1st team) scoring his 3rd of season in 2-1 W. I wonder when will Roggow and 03 M Jessen will breakthrough Pauli 1st team. According to Pauli, they are playing II to boost struggling II but what is plan with them anwyays??? I think they will try to breakthrough in 2nd half of season.
-03 W Ehlers scored his 2nd of season in that 2-1 L for Bremen II.
-03 W Harz scored his 2nd of season for a 3-2 comeback win for HSV II, down 2-0 and won it 3-2. Harz in general is more sub and also more of an assister than scorer too. 04 CF Sanne (who is part of 1st team and scored on 2BL debut) scored his 2nd of season for injury time 3-2 winning goal. Kid performing in U19, RL and 2BL so far. And you guessed it he scored a heading goal, LMAO. For a shrimp all of his goals are headers..:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

and more and more 2006 born are training with pro teams.

3 06s training with 2BL AB 1st team AB U17 is in 2nd place in U17 West and fighting for Championship spot. Looks like 06 CF Koch, 06 M Kruger and 06 CB Nezir

Koch has 13 goals and 10 assists in 11 matches in U17 West this season too. 07 W Cherny (he's bro of 03 AM Cherny.) he's also doing well in U17 vs older players but likely due to age was left out.

Three players from our U17 Bundesliga team were there: Adrian Nezir, Henrik Koch and Tom Krüger (photo below). U17 trainer Marcel Drobe was also on the pitch and accompanied his protégés, AKADEMINIA manager Finn Holsing watched the practice session from the sidelines. "We're always trying to integrate young players into the professional team. The U17s are having a great season and deserve it. We're just going to see how far they've come and want to use this phase of the season to do so," led Head coach Scherning to the training guests.

    -
Arminia Bielefeld temporarily promotes three "top talents".
With Henrik Koch, Tom Krüger and Adrian Nezir, a trio was able to sniff professional air for the first time during the sessions on Thursday and Friday under the eyes of head coach Daniel Scherning.

He therefore wants to use the now quieter phase of the season to "get an overview of the top talent".

Tom Krüger is undoubtedly one of them. The 16-year-old midfielder is a player "between the lines who can pick up the ball and then put it down," according to coach Drobe. (...) There were a few more by Henrik Koch. The attacker, also 16, scored 13 goals – the third most in the league. "He's a very intense striker and starts a lot up front," said Drobe of his goalscorer. The trio was completed by Adrian Nezir. The central defender "absolutely deserved the training as co-captain".
However, the youngsters should have quickly noticed on Thursday that there are worlds between the U17s and the pros. "You could see that there was a lot of space, opponent and time pressure and that they then make mistakes," analyzed Scherning. But: "What matters is how willing they are to learn from their mistakes and then implement them better." You have to give the boys time to get used to the level. The trio made a "very committed and motivated" impression, said the DSC trainer, who took several minutes to talk to the talents after Friday's session.

However, training with the pros should not have been a means of giving the youngsters an argument in favor of Arminia, as Daniel Scherning underlined. "For me it's not a way to extend a contract. It's about perspectives."

-Arminia's U17s are playing a very good role in the Bundesliga this season as they are currently second in the table. Do players from this team have the chance to be integrated into the training of the pros in the near future?

Scherning: I closely follow our youngsters, including the U19s, and I maintain a corresponding exchange with my fellow coaches. What the U17s play in the Bundesliga is crazy. Last season I had a U17 player at VfL Osnabrück in Kevin Wiethaup, who I raised to the pros at the age of 16 and who then made it into the match day squad. I come from the offspring, I know that permeability is important. We would be stupid if we didn't look at our offspring and open up perspectives. When we have good guys, they have to be encouraged and challenged. Then all doors are open. But pure actionism doesn't help anyone, there must also be a perspective.

    “HUMBLE BUT ALSO BRAVE”
These RB talents attracted attention in the test

Marco Rose knows there is a fine line between praising and taking off. Therefore, after the 6-0 (2-0) win in the friendly against the Polish first division club Radomiak Radom, the RB Leipzig coach made it a point to correctly classify the performance of the talented players. Nine junior footballers from U19 and U17 were used and almost all showed strong performances.

"I'm glad they got time to see their families in front of their families," said Rose. “They do it better every day in training, adapt relatively quickly, but together we still have a long way to go and a lot of work ahead of us. But those who were there today are all talents with goals."

Rose impressed with Ba's cross quality
Central defender Sanoussy Ba and striker Ohene Köhl were allowed to play from the start. Sanoussy Ba is already part of the first-team squad at just 18 and showed it with a mature performance alongside Mohamed Simakan. Rose also specifically addressed Ba. "He's a good guy, listens, is humble but also brave, doesn't hide in training," praised the coach. "He's got a great right foot, can make great crosses, has pace and can play a lot of positions." The coaching team is still in the process of finding the best position for the top talent. The defensive all-rounder, born in Bavarian Hof, works best as a half-defender in a back three.

In the second half, Ba was even the senior partner in central defence, because 17-year-old Daniel Ihendu came on for Simakan. At 1.94 meters and his calm manner, the talent is reminiscent of the young Ibrahima Konaté. After a short period of getting used to, the newly formed back four found themselves and delivered a stable performance. In the second half, this also included right-back Max Voigt (18), who confidently pushed forward and also did a good job defensively.

    Meet Koehl and Schierack
Striker Ohene Köhl, who has great facilities, is physically robust and quick as an arrow and can hold balls well, had a mixed performance. But the 18-year-old attacker still lacks a sense of space and positioning and self-image in front of goal. In the first half, the youngster missed a top chance a few yards from goal. The fact that Emil Forsberg then gave him the 3-0 after a counterattack when Köhl only needed to push in should bring more courage for the next appearance.

17-year-old Simon Schierack left the game with a good chest. A few minutes after coming on, he failed at the visitors' keeper from close range, shortly afterwards he did better when he called for a ball in midfield, lost an opponent, put the ball on the left and from 16 meters to 5: 0 hit. A great scene from the U19 player.

And in goal, Jonas Nickisch (18) showed what he learned in training with Janis Blaswich, Örjan Nyland and goalkeeping coach Freddy Gößling in his ten minutes of play, when he made a brilliant save and kept things calm in the final phase.

Rose: "The leap is big, but we're trying to support them"
Rose announced that he would also take "one or the other" to the training camp in Abu Dhabi in early January and get them to train regularly. "They can now draw attention to themselves, show themselves and then go back down to their teams and put everything they could on the pitch," said Rose. "The leap is big, but we're trying to support them."

-Ibrahimovic what nice footwork in limited space

-Bischof, wow, what vision and pin point ball. Do think that's something missing in current Senior NT.

-Disagree whole point of U18 is to EXPERIMENT and to give as many players as possible chance to then form squad for U19 Euro qualifiers.

Internationally, Yildiz plays for the Turkish Football Association and made his U21 debut in September. The offensive talent previously missed the U17 European Championship in May due to a stretched ligament. "Of course, the DFB is also keeping an eye on him, but the Turkish association wants and will definitely go all-in here. If he continues like this, it won't be long before he makes the leap into the senior national team," Yener said. Juventus fans are already demanding that Yildiz be given a chance with the pros and are celebrating the transfer coup for free.
    https://www.transfermarkt.de/kenan-...zum-pogba-nachfolger-erkoren/view/news/414406

he has Turkish father and German mother. But Germany can't compete with this. We can't call him up to U21 like Turkey does.

Turkey are losers and in U21 they call up RL-U19 players all time then wonder why they never qualify, LMAO.

Germany will never win this. Moment he steps foot in Juventus, Kuntz will likely call him up and seal the deal.

will be curious to see if Arda Guler+Yildiz will become the "stars" of Turkey in future.

CM: Pioli’s confidence growing in €6m signing – he will get more playing time
Confidence in Malick Thiaw is growing after his summer arrival from Schalke 04 and should get more and more trust, a report claims.

Not much was known about Thiaw when he joined in the summer transfer window from the Bundesliga side but he had been linked with a move to the Rossoneri in the January prior, thus showing he is a defender that the scouting department had been eyeing for a while.

Calciomercato.com report that Thiaw is ‘growing more and more’ under the guidance of Stefano Pioli having not been used much in the first part of the season, though he does have four Serie A appearances under his belt including two starts.

The German U21 international joined from Schalke 04 for a fee of just €6m, and his playing time will increase in the second part of the season as Milan hope they have secured another Kalulu-esque bargain who can be part of the defence for the future.

that's hard to predict though as a player can breakthrough pros anyrime and jump very fast. I for one never thought Bella-Kotchap was going to get called up in Fall to Senior NT

I'll go options aka possible. I won't go with any confidence.
also if you ignore Wirtz, Adeyemi, Moukoko, Bella-Kotchap too. Although very very clear that Moukoko-Bella-Kotchap gonna play U21 Euro in Summer

-GK=Mantl. Fruchtl, Atubolu, for GKs, lets just say that 3/3 will likely be options in future. Fruchtl is a #1 in Austria but won't be there forever. Mantl gonna become likely RB Salzburg #1 in future and that also means CL too. Once Flekken bails from Freiburg, Atubolu is likely gonna be pushed for #1.
    -LB=Netz
    -CB=Bella-Kocthap, Thiaw
-RB=Vagnoman, Fischer (any RBs who breakthrough 1BL will become contenders)
    -M=Stiller, Krauss, Nmecha,
    -AM/W+CF=Samardzic, Knauff, Burkardt, Schade

but honestly its hard to predict.
you also have to realize guys in 2BL-1st Abroad could play top 4 in near future and jump up as options. A CB Bisseck 100% gonna play top 4 leagues, if not for injury could have made it a lot earlier wasted like 2-3 years to injuries and almost quit too. Its how he'll do there that will determine his Senior NT potential. Although Bisseck has impressed a lot in Danish 1st and also in U21 vs top countries. Its same for rest of 00-01 CBs, those in non top 4 look like will be top 4 in future so one has to wait and see on them. Still not too sure how I see M Huseinbasic for example in terms of Senior NT potential assuming doesn't get poached by Bosnia too quickly. Players like Leweling, Alidou, Weisshaupt, Khadra etc its really about having that explosion in form which has yet to happen assuming it ever happens. Its a same issue with some CFs, all it takes is an explosion of form or transfer and suddenly they are options.

that's problem with youth a player might look nowhere near Senior NT this season but come next season or one after and suddenly they are.

then you have topic of 2005 born who are seen as "Golden Generation". These kids are knocking hard on 1BL door. Once they breakthrough would be hard to resist them. A Bischof is rated by everyone in Germany. A Wanner is making progress at Bayern and could jump to U21 super early, he's already had convos with Flick+Bierhoff too. A Weiper+Pejcinovic 2 CFs who fit complete CFs both knocking on 1BL door. Everyone at Wolfsburg praise Pejcinovic as something special. Its same for Weiper too and Mainz and list goes on and on as 2005 list isn't small.

but at end of day, DFB likes youth to play U21 in order to gain International Experience, play together with players of similar ages and its also that its rare for players to skip U21. So most of the 02-onwards its likely too soon for them or next few is their U21 cycle.

-Kiala, getting a lot of traction at Hertha , got upped to II early and his 1st dfb chances this season
-Bruns, a Union 1st prospect although that club=0 integration. So unknown future, has made bench in 1BL too
-Collins, a Dortmund 1st prospect who has done back to back preseason. And now was on Asian Tour with 1st team too.
-Cisse, should try to breakthrough Dortmund II in 3rd Liga or bail to another club
-Janitzek, a Bayern 1st prospect who needs to bail at some point. Likely to follow Lawrence and Mbi on loan.
-Tolba, a Bochum 1st prospect who's made bench a bunch this season. He's next CB at that club after Oermann.
-Morgalla, an XI in 3rd Liga 1860 who are on track for 2BL promotion. Like half of 1BL wants him
-Quarshie, made his 1BL debut prior to WC and got tons of praise by Hoff coach who sees him as diamond in rough. Coach-club look high on him
-Reichardt, a LB who was made into a CB to accomodate 05 Azevedo at LB. Has trained with Stuttgart 1st. Although his problem is topic of 05 CB Fritschi
-Bakatukanda, Koln 1st prospect. Although 04 CB Smajic (poached by Bosnia) is ahead although for how long?
-Lange, has pro contract from Summer with Wolfsburg

I tend to not have preference for players tbh.

for me focus is more on breakingthrough pros, making 1BL/top 4, making U21 and making Senior NT.

so I root for all tbh. I'm more likely to talk about preference if its X vs Y in tersm of fighting for spot at club or NT.

thing about Bischof, Wanner, Raebiger is I see all 3 make Senior NT in future, barring no injuries. All very promising and all have tools that would boost Senior NT. In fact, I think don't be surprised one bit if more than 5 05s make Senior NT in future too. Could it be 10 and more, wouldn't shock me honestly. As 10 year gap between them and 05s, so enough to push them to forefront on NT.

I mean I've seen numerous "youth experts" who call Aseko one of the most promising DM prospects in Europe and that Schalke's M Ouedraogo is one of best 06s in Europe too. Shows potential of the younger ones too.

could be exciting, I think the kids of future more likely to win a trophy than current crop.

I mean I did comparison in past of 2014 WC winning squad with 05s and end result. 05 age group has more depth from 1 single age group. When Germany won that 2009 U21 Euro the depth was meh as frick it was more about a core+Kroos/Muller and that's it. And these guys were spread from like what was it 4 age groups. But 2005s is a LOT more depth than those guys and in all positions minus RB. That older squad had 0 CFs of relevance, 05s already has 2 promising CFs

Borussia Dortmund: Juwel impresses in Asia – every BVB fan should have him on their list.
Donyell Malen is one of the winners of the adventure - but not only him. A jewel also took advantage of its chance and attracted lasting attention. Could he help Borussia Dortmund in a problem area?

Borussia Dortmund: Samuel Bamba draws attention to himself
Samuel Bamba received the first reward for his good performances in Southeast Asia. After two strong performances in the tests in Singapore and Malaysia, coach Edin Terzic promoted him to the starting XI in Vietnam.

At the age of 16, "Sammy" was promoted to the Borussia Dortmund U19s in 2020. While some teammates have since been able to train, travel or even play with the pros, the 18-year-old has had to be patient so far.

    Three goals, then starting eleven
He got a practical test on the BVB Asia tour. In the absence of the World Championship riders and those with long-term injuries, the squad for the PR trip was filled with talent from the under-23s and youth. Bamba was one of them - and can feel like a winner of the Asia trip.

A brace against Lion City Sailors (7-2), a third against Johir Darul Takzim (4-1) – only 30m striker Donyell Malen scored more in the Far East. Bamba was only substituted on both times.

Consequently, he was allowed to play from the start for the first time in the last game against the Vietnamese national team (1:2).

    Rare Species: A true winger
It should not be the last reward for the offensive jewel that came to BVB at the age of nine. The hopes of being able to take the step to the pros should now be greater than ever before. Of course, only Edin Terzic knows how justified they are. The fact is: As a winger he is at home in a position that has been chronically understaffed at Borussia Dortmund for years.

With Giovanni Reyna, Julian Brandt, Donyell Malen and Karim Adeyemi, the wings at BVB are almost always occupied by players who are actually at home in other positions. In addition,

Thorgan Hazard, the only 'genuine' winger alongside Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, appears to have found a new calling at left-back.

Boldly plugging the hole with a talent from your own offspring and giving Samuel Bamba his professional debut - that would suit Borussia Dortmund's path. “We are known for always giving talent a stage. They can present themselves here and show where they stand and where they want to go.” Terzic's words in Singapore can be a first clue.

-Called it all season that only matter of time until 02 M Breithaupt of 2BL Karlsruher ends up in 1BL.

    Bild links him to
Borussia Dortmund, Eintracht Frankfurt, VfL Wolfsburg, Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Mönchengladbach are said to have observed him on the shopping list and regularly.

The foals are said to have already gotten in touch: As the paper found out, the 20-year-old and his advisor were at Borussia Park to get their own picture there. And presumably also to have a chat with sports director Roland Virkus.

    Price tag four million euros?
Despite his young age, Breithaupt has already gained a lot of professional experience. The strong-running, 1.92-metre-long defensive specialist, who can also play in central defence, made his debut for KSC in January 2021.
    https://www.ligainsider.de/tim-brei...ga-haben-tim-breithaupt-auf-dem-radar-330151/

-Massimo might end his dumbass Portuguese 2nd loan and go on loan to 2BL FD
    https://www.ligainsider.de/roberto-...abbruch-massimo-stagniert-in-portugal-330149/

-why are all these kids obsessed with Bayern when integration is close to 0. It being a big club is stupid argument.

-on Darvich, yeah he's promising. I recall he destroyed Pengland too
Noah Darvich (06) stands out in the lower categories as a player to keep in mind in the future. Part of Germany seeks to be in the Euro Under-17 of 2023. A hook-end with enormous ease for 1-1 and great quality in his left foot
    Great talent from SC Freiburg

Player who can act on the wing with a changed leg as a midfielder, with a good technical level, an effective dribbler, plastic and who is also very creative combining inside, good last pass
A good left foot to open up your shot or look for BP

-Luca Netz interview, still says his aim is Euro 2024

Sane scored his 3rd of season in 5-0 W

Schalke II finally playing more relevant players in XI.
With Heekeren, Boboy, Sane, Calhanoglu. Schell who was recently with 1st team is also a regular XI. Would like for Lelle to fully breakthrough XI.

    Club Friendlies
    -Hertha beat H96 2-1
    Hertha XI=Ernst
    Subs=Scherhant (45 min), Eitschberger (15 min)

this is why Ullrich gonna bail. If only guys with pro contracts get chances why would he sign pro contract. Hertha really lacks perspective for young. Bobic and Schwarz have been praising 02 CF Scherhant in past week too.

    H96 XI=Luhrs
    Subs=Leopold, Walbrecht, Arrey-Mbi all 45 min

Beier+Tresoldi looks like rest from being back from Internationals. Momuluh who signed pro contract during week had fitness issues and club didn't want to risk it. No idea why Ulhmann isn't there.

-RB Leipzig beat Danish 1st Horsens 2-1
    XI=Ba (full 90), Ihendu (85 min)
Sub=Voigt (18 min sub), Henning (7 min), Osawe (4 min), Schrierack (2 min)

interesting to see Ihendu a CB get XI. This means that Ba, Ihendu, Voigt, Kohl (injured/unfit as absent it seems) are ones who played most for Leipzig in the 2 matches.

    -Frankfurt beat Sandhausen 5-1
Frankfurt XI=Alidou (scored once and looks to have been active all match)

That's it its annoying how Glasner always plays his best team even in friendlies never really gives many chances. It seems Wenig (unfit) is only youth he's more keen on for chances. Loune, Ghotra, Alaoui all unused bench. Imagine in friendly he only uses 3 subs to sub in pro squad players and that's it WTF

Sandhausen played El Zein, Papela. While Schwab and Grawe unused bench

Samardzic on U21 during Udinese's 126th birthday event
I am proud to play for this club and with the Under 21 national team, scoring against Italy in the last match was a great emotion", the words collected by UdineseTv.

Serbia are out of WC in GS, 1 pts out 9, bottom of group, nowhere near R16
I think that's good news even if selfish.

why because it does weight in on duals and making their choices.

If Serbia had went deep run could have pushed a Samardzic towards Serbia. But them flopping doesn't really entice to join a NT that struggles to qualify and never goes anywhere.

its same reason why Wanner has Germany ahead of Austria. With Austria=struggle to qualify and won't go far but with Germany its more realistic to play every tourney and compete for trophies.

    Rapid won friendly 4-1
00 W Kuhn had goal and assist.

his goal aka winning was his dribbling past 4 players and scoring. His assist was going past 1 and cross for header.

from interview, he wants to score/assist more in 2nd half of season. That he thinks he settled well and done well although had some fitness issues.

honestly would like to see him do well and go upwards in Summer.

    his reactions
    -on 05 LB Azevedo
I'm a fan but that will be too early for him.

    -on 03 LB Netz
It will be a huge opportunity for him in the next 2 years as the competition for his position is not too good and with two more full seasons and hopefully more gametime than this season, he will be in the discussion.

    -on 05 M Bischof and 05 AM/W Wanner
They still have many steps to make before coming into discussion. Two of germany's most gifted talents, but they would need the Musiala/Wirtz early age explosion to make it as they are still very young and have strong competetion in their position.

    -on 04 CB Morgalla
One for the future. But i only see a chance of getting into discussion for him if he will leave your club in summer already.

    -on 02 AM Samardzic
Laki as Zielinski's successor to Naples and then he goes through the roof. I still think very highly of him. For me one of the most talented players in the U21s.

    -on Thiaw, Schade, Krauss, Thielmann
I see Thiaw and Schade as exciting and still believe he can take a few more steps (it's still doubtful whether it will be enough for 2024). Krauss and Thielmann are good players, but I doubt if it will be enough for the highest level.

    -on Knauff
If we play with wingbacks or he can develops into a right back then yes. Otherwise no. For me he is only really good in his wing back role, where take advantageof his speed.
I'm not a fan of him as a winger and overall don't rate him as much as others.

    -on Thiaw again
A bit under radar in Germany as he is going the Antonio Rüdiger way, but also on my list. Needs to take the chance at Milan when he gets it. If he does he will have chances.

    -on Martel and Shuranov
    I don’t see it.

-seems a fan of Stiller and Nmecha
I was also surprised that nobody mentioned Nmecha. Stiller was not even mentioned.

    -Another person on youth
We literally have some of the best talents in europe. We were favorites for the u17 euros this year and won the u21 euros. Our talent, especially in midfield/offense is insane

    I agree on Thielmann
I do like him and his direct style of play but massive doubts will make Senior NT. AM/W=crazy amount of options. Just don't see it and its not because won't be in top club or whatever.

I wouldn't write out Krauss or Martel as they are DM options too.

I also agree about Shuranov not talking about his current issues-holes. I doubt he'll play for Senior NT, I see better CFs and also issue I think more likely to end up with Ukraine at end of day.

    also on RBs.
They won't grow on trees. I honestly don't see any top right back coming through in the next 2 years. We will have the same options for the position in two years like we have at the moment.

that's not really true as both Vagnoman and Fischer are breakingthrough 1BL this season and if more make it future time will tell. Vagnoman at least has physqiue, speed, atheleticism etc for position too. So your options increase by 2 more. You don't need world class RB or at every position.

thing about RB is there any top/Elite or whatever RB. I don't see it, the best one can hope is a good and stable options. As mentioned before Bulut gets a lot of hype but as a 06 he's far away. Rest is basically wait and see them breakingthrough pros and how they adapt and perform.
