As we all saw, the 2022 cycle was a big waste. Tata and the players he took left much to be desired. Lots of controversies surrounding the NT as well regarding players that should have gone to the World Cup and players that should have no business on the NT The NT was a damn circus under Tata but let’s not forget that Liga MX and the manner that FMF has been running things has been a shit show as well I feel we’ve been regressing and I truly hope this World Cup’s failure can serve as a wake up call I would love to hear everyone’s recommendations on how to move forward going into the next cycle
Play copa america Play libertadores Stop associating with stinky ass mls Bring back relegation Stop playing with so many foreigners in ligamx
Selling domestic players for cheap to Europe. Returning to Copa Sudamericana & bringing back Liga De Ascenso too.
We can start by not going to any games in the US. People don’t understand what it means to line the pockets of the FMF.
Why isn't that sack of crap Yon De Luisa on the hot seat. His incompetence has been legendary in 2022
I would prefer 4231 but with: .............Acevedo Alvarez..montes..vasquez..arteaga ........edson.......chavez Corona....Vega......Lozano ...............Gimenez Also, after today's game we need to play orbelin more often as an enganche. He is still only 26.
Because Concacaf is our confederation and therefore our priority when it comes to tournaments. The other copa’s schedules were conflicting with our own. Then they said that it was to make Concacaf stronger by doing so. That worked out great.
I could understand this while the confederations cup was going on, but now that it's scrapped we should be able to play in copa america.
Disagree. He will be 33 in the 2026 world cup. Many players can still compete very well at this age. He is one of those rare skillful talents and can still offer a lot even if he wont play 90 min. He just needs to adapt his game.
Honestly, the next coach should work towards 2026 as if Corona won't be able to contribute. If he can and be a positive asset, it's a plus, but if he won't, his spot would be covered.
Also knowing that he got injured doing training. We won't be able to depend on him at that age...if he can then it's a plus y nada mas.
I don't remember the last time Corona took on his opponents with his dribbling. That version of Corona hasn't been seen in years in the NT. This guy needs to re-convert back as a fullback. The last time he played this position, he was the Portuguese POTY and won a title with Porto. He needs to emulate what Cuadrado is doing right now.
FMF directors saying they're not quiting and promising change.... Go collect your lala milk and bimbo money you clowns
I have Flores as my "enganche" of sorts in the midfield, but it could be Orbelin, it could be Cordova if he gets his shit together, it could be Ledezma at PSV if he chooses us, not sure tbh.
Way too early to have projected lineups, things change too much over four years. I think it’s really interesting to hear the players speak out. A veteran leader like Ochoa didn’t mince words and explicitly said - it serves no purpose to play so many friendlies in the United States, other former coaches/professionals all unanimously agree with the bigsoccer consensus that our level of play has dropped since we stopped competing in South American club and country competitions. But that’s not where the money is sadly it makes me wonder what it’s like behind the scenes when someone like Ochoa agrees with stuff we say. I guess it’s like any job, I’m sure most of us have hated at least one boss we’ve worked under. Maybe some tolerate it maybe this is why vela always declined to play with us. Watching a picante clip and it was interesting - they didn’t even know the real structure of how the association operates. They say four or five owners pretty much decide everything, and all have already backed De Luisa which is wild to me. He’s probably made them so much money focusing primarily on American centered games. How do other federations operate?
