Have to say Morocco is the clear favorite here. Don't see how Canada can cope with them in the midfield and on the wings with Boufal and Ziyech.

Now that they're out, will Canada play with the same pressing defense?

This WC has already shown anything can happen. I hope Morocco won't make the same mistake as Japan vs Costa Rica

The Canadian gk is a serb born in Knin (city in dalmatia croatia)
The coach Herdman might also be bitter. His son didn't convince Dinamo Zagreb academy few years ago and everybody mocks him since Canada-Croatia result.
Will they be motivated to beat Morocco more than they would like to see it being harder for Croatia?

Morocco could still advance with 2 goal loss and a draw in the other match.

I find it absurd that either Herdman or Borjan would deliberately tank the match because of some alleged vendetta they have against Croatia. Especially Borjan. He’s trying to make a good impression here on the world stage so he can get signed by a bigger club. What’s he going to do, allow a cheap goal?

Croatia just needs to take care of their own business against Belgium.

So you think they'd be happy to lose a WC game ?

Borjan talked publicly against Croatia several times. He is 35 yo playing for Red Star Belgrad where hé is settled...
Which Big club will sign him? His fans there would yell his name even more.

Well from someone saying publicly before meeting our team that he will f... Croatia how will you expect any common sense?
I just know that since we destroyed their team hé is mocked all over the World.

You're free to root for whoever you want but please don't judge a whole country based on their worst sample. The vast majority is ashamed by the action of these scums who are absolutelly not qualified to represent us.

I wonder does Morocco make any changes ? I know Amrabat is on a yellow, I'd honestly rest him, and any other starters who aren't 100% fit. But must remain 100% focus because Canada is dangerous, and they really want to get a win.

The coach said yesterday in the press conference that we can't afford to be calculating the yellows, maybe years from now if our standing goes up yes but for now we have to use the best available squad and only focus on this game.

I expect Hakimi to be rested, he's not 100% fit. Mazraoui would play RB and Atiatallah LB
I also think Sabiri would start instead of Amallah but Sabiri also has a yellow so I don't know if it's a good idea.

Other option would be to start with both Jabran and Amrabat in a 4231 formation, Jabran would ease Amrabat's defensive tasks and reduce the risk for him getting a yellow.

    Morocco not resting anybody.

Sabiri in for Amallah. Rest the same.

Canada dropped David and Estaquio is injured.

Was that third goal by Morocco actually offside? It looked legit to me.
