Cool story but let’s leave the politics out of our forum.

2014 v Bosnia. 2006 was Serbia and Montenegro. But yes, that second goal, with all that passing and then, bam! Golazo.

Yes thank you. I’m getting older so the memory gets sketchy. Still devastatingly handsome though.

I still do not understand these 5 min or under highlight reels. And you can’t get any other part of the world, I.e. from back home or the BBC. It is from Fox or Telemundo. Blah.

Fantastic performance under pressure. Enzo was slightly loose at the beginning and Acuna could have done a bit better putting in low crosses but overall everyone played so well.

RDP really calmed down and delivered. Eliminated the mistakes while maintaining the energy.

I’m surprised he has not arrived and gloated. But he’ll pop up every now and then.

Would be interesting to see Mac as #5 since he is more stable and Enzo in Mac's position since he is more dynamic. But Mac did an excellent job in his Lo Celso role today.

I love the second goal. Fantastic short passes then quickly penetrate.

Think we all have to tip our hat to Scaloni once again. Lineup was excellent and so were changes. Only think I would have asked is for Dybala to sub for Messi once we went up 2 goals.

Btw Otamendi is still rock solid. Romero seems fit now.

Perfect performance. Only thing that could improve this is more freedom for Enzo in attack.

All I want to see now is Argentinian fans surround that stupid Saudi fan who's been mocking Messi with his "Where is Messi" thing. Serves him right :D

We have to help Almada get out of the MLS too as a sidequest

The vision, burst, and recklessness to dribble by the Polish defender who had overcommitted. Then the little pass. Something you would only get from Enzo in that position, not Guido and not even Paredes.

Serbia you mean Moishe. Yes the way we controlled the ball for fun. Had we wanted to instead of conserving energy we could have probably scored 2-3 late on as Poland were completely exhausted by having to run around.

It's a shame seeing Lewandowski in a side like that. As I said with the large Polish community in Argentina he should have transferred over....;)

We may need a slightly more physical bigger nine in time. But today we saw parts of the future framework making their claims to be part of the set up for a long time to come.

As much as I rate Paredes, Enzo is already a better player

Enzo seemed a little nervous in the first 10 min. I remember Lewandowski turned him and he made a couple of loose plays but after that he was excellent.

I felt like Messi wanted to score one more for Mexico. I was hoping Mexico would make it but oh well.
