https://www.whoscored.com/Matches/1632095/LiveStatistics/International-FIFA-World-Cup-2022-Iran-USA By the end, he was dead. He worked hard. 89% pass accuracy and 2 out of 3 long balls. He did try a stupid meg every now and then, but his best attribute is progressive carrying, so he's gonna try some things.
Along with Rash, EtH and Benni McCarthy deserve some credit. The headed goals a few weeks back and MR having 2 of his 3 WC goals from his left-foot feels like Benni working with him to make him more rounded. He will never be lethal with his left, but the fact he is willing to cut back and shoot with it gives defenders a new problem - as his spike of running at people means defenders / keepers often not set. So shot does not always have to be that accurate.
Oh boy... Poland and Mexico level on points, GD, GS. Poland ahead on fair play points(yellows/reds) Mexico 7 YC Poland 4 YC No reds Come on Poland, get 3 yellows so we can have a coin toss...
This yellow card tiebreaker should really be updated to count the difference between cards your opponents get in games against you and your own teams cards, because more cards for your opponent generally indicates that you're attacking more/better. If you got 7 cards, but your opponents got 10 cards in games against you (+3), you should be ahead of a team that had 5 yellow cards and 5 yellow cards against (0).
Or do away with it altogether. Personally, I'd rather it was something like goals conceded as the next tie breaker. Then maybe corners won.
1. France 2. Brazil 3. Spain 4 Argentina 5. Portugal 6. Netherlands 7. Germany 8. Senegal 9. Morocco 10. Croatia Dropout: England There will be an upset in this round of 16 where one of the big names will fall out. Early days yet since the round of 16 isn't set but I am making a big call right now. Argentina climb the rankings because they should get by Australia and should be favorites against either the Netherlands or the United States. They should really walk into the final four at this stage. The Netherlands dropped because the US could spring an upset. I don't expect it but I would not be surprised if it happened. England falls out because I am tipping Senegal to win here. If Senegal can maintain some consistency and maintain focus and concentration in their play they should come out ahead. I'm expecting them to pull it off. France holds on to the number one spot for now. I expect them to get past Poland fairly easily but an England or a Senegal game doesn't seem as clear-cut. Now, a France Senegal matchup would be mouth watering. Stay tuned, it could all change tomorrow depending on the next set of teams to be confirmed.
If i had to guess, Enzo will cost at least £50 to £60 mil. Possibly more. Bellingham would cost at least £100mil.
Watching the boring ass Croatia - Belgium game right now because Morocco basically won the group already.
