So as things stand we cannot win Group E, so our route will most likely mean facing Croatia/Morocco in the round of 16 and then Portugal/Serbia/Switzerland in the QF if we get through that.

 

They were terrible on the 3 games. I have to say regarding individual quality I wasn't never over the top with them even regarding the last Euros, Qualifiers or Nations League.

To go far in this tournaments you can't expect to be bailed out by Dolberg, Cornelius or Braithwaite to score goals honestly. Even Damsgaard at club level hasn't been nothing special.

Even on the first decade of this century they had players like Tomasson/Gronkjaer/Jorgensen or even Rommedahl, why were some international media coming with the nonsense of calling them the new Danish Dynamite when they aren't producing players of that level?

Better even not bring the Laudrup brothers to the table. They do seem to be improving at Youth level, but they need to confirm that with real top players, under 19´s or 21's isn't enough to be playing at top level.

As Enrique said 1st place you end up vs Brazil in QF is likely.

I really would like to see us manage a SF run but time will tell.

 

Denmark at Euros got too much sympathy due to Christian Eriksen collapsing. But reality they were meh and Pengland didn't even deserve to beat them either.

I'm not too convinced by Scandinavia footy tbh. The leagues aren't that high quality either.

you have to remember that Scandinavia tends to produce those big and physical players which boosts them at youth level. Most think German 2005 Born are Golden Generation and when playing Denmark back in U16 we lost 1st match 2-0 but won 2nd, 5-4. Everyone said that technically Germany destroyed Denmark but that Denmark physically owned us.

Norway producing results in youth level but a lot of bus parking too.

and these countries have too many players who get tons of hype but fizzle later on too. Dolberg is good example of this.

 

Super random question - does anyone know when the points will start to add up in the fifa leagues for world cup? i thought they would start to show up when the final matches were complete.

To be honest. Croatia will be as difficult as may be Brazil. Brazil have not impressed me at all.
