Denmark is struggling in this first half. They were superior 25-30 minutes but without finding the Key in thé final third and now you can feel they start to doubt.

    Well done to the Aussies.
    Denmark seemed toothless.

Denmark is one of the most disappointing teams in this World cup.

Denmark massively overhyped. Like a lot of UEFA teams.

Australia turning out to be quite the tightrope artists.

First playoff with UAE, then playoff with Peru (with all the heroics), than the France thrashing and they come back with two 1:0 wins!

Probably as far as they can go, but the tenacity!

My condolences to @Hayaka, @Ceres etc. I did not see that coming. Would have been a good potential game vs. Argentina but oh well...

Quite possibly. This team has continued to exceed my expectations. I rated them our weakest squad since the 1980's and now they become only the second Australian team to make the knockouts and the first to have consecutive wins. What a performance by them and all the coaching staff.

Belgium beat Brazil at the last world cup

    No one has overhyped Wales

    Serbia got beaten by Brazil

Poland? No one overhyped them plus what did you expect them to do exactly. They have 4 points

Congratulations to Almango and other Australian fans. That was… something.

Early on before the tournament started I was wondering where the goals would come from for Australia. I should have been wondering about that for my own team.

They've beat France twice (who topped this group) twice in the last 6 months, are France overhyped as well?

Jesus. This is by far the worst tournament performance by Denmark in history. Not that they lost to Australia tonight, but that they went home 4th with 1 point in a manageable group. And the fact that they did it with such a promising squad, it's hard for me to understand what happened. I'm just glad I'm not in Qatar right now with no alcohol right now. lol.

Anyway congrats to Australia. Tonight's result was well deserved. I've always had a soft spot for them so I'm glad they advanced.
