Was the hospitality worth it? We’re the seats any good?

 

Yes definitely!
At the day spa downstairs I think it was 70 or 90 QAR for a 10 or 20 minute shower. Haven’t done it yet. Let us know how it is!

 

Are the lounges open? I thought they were closed for the World Cup?

 

Both Al Safwa and Al Maha lounges had showers.

Al Maha was quite busy. Al Sawfa is insanely good. Who ever is granted access, should visit it.

 

Is possible when living the country? because on my arrival, they sent everyone with Hayya card to the eGates, the other side was only for residents.

 

Sat in last row above corner where the stadium kind of curves down last night at usa v iran. Not the greatest however atmosphere made up for average position.
I had cat2 right on centre line for Ecuador v Senegal in 900 section row D. Bit high up but normally cat1 spot. Strange that one.

 

Definitely a few restaurants. Armani cafe comes to mind.

Security at Education City just told me I couldn’t take my phone in… had to call over the supervisors

I have 2 Cat 1 tickets to USA vs Netherlands. But they’re in section 903.

Anyone willing to swap with me so I could get closer to the pitch? Would pay to move up + the 2 CAT 1’s I have right now If the ticket swap warrants some money on top. Thanks!

I have an extra ticket to M50 (ABA Stadium), BUT here’s the catch. I’m going to US/NED M49 at Khalifa. And definitely not willing to leave that match early (been waiting 8 years to see US play!). That could make it tough to get to M50 in time via public transport but feel like pretty doable with a car?

If any locals (or anyone else with a car) wants a free ticket to M50 AND is willing to meet me somewhere outside Khalifa and drive to ABA with me, it’s yours. Again, I won’t be leaving M49 before the very end, but I’m pretty good at positioning myself near the best exit and happy to run a mile or two to meet you somewhere convenient.

Apologies if this is not a good opportunity, but maybe a fun adventure for the right person with flexibility and wanting to check out M50? Just trying to get creative. Shoot me a DM. Cheers.
