On this nightly highlight show, Kate Abdo just asked Piers Morgan if he ever met anyone who talked as much as he did. Piers replied by pointing at Alexi and saying something about looking in a mirror.

And now here's Chad Ochocinco Johnson.

There's times when Fox is decent...then there's times when they really make questionable decisions.

They hit an all time low earlier today when they had Chad Ochocinco step up and deliver Al Pacinos' classic, iconic, legendary "Inches" speech from Any Given Sunday.

First of all, Chad is not Al Pacino.

Second, he's still not Al Pacino.

    Third, WTF?

It was utterly stupid and pointless, it dragged well past the point of embarrassment, and it was so badly delivered that, despite the fact that Chad is a complete tool who has literally no business being on a soccer broadcast, you began to feel sorry for him.

    Chad, Ochocinco, Johnson....hmmmmm.......
Wait a minute, "Ochocinco" rings a bell. Oh yeah! Yeah! I kinda remember something now . That wide receiver, 80, Bengals I think. I can't remember if people liked him or not. Interesting.

So correct me if I'm wrong, and I absolutely may very well be, but is this guy a celebrity again? It's very possible that he's blown up and the programming didn't get through to the rock I live under.

But dang. Just when we fool ourselves into believing soccer is really starting to make it in this country, the best "celebrity" we can muster might not even get accepted as a panelist on a day time TV game show (if they still have those.)

He's been a soccer fan his whole life and even tried out for SKC when the NFL was on strike. It was a publicity stunt mainly but the guy is an athlete had he not picked football at a young age then he could have made it in MLS. He's a known quantity, a personality, and knows "enough" about the game not to be embarrassing. Sounds like the type of person a network like FOX would run out there.

From the NFL side of things, he was a good player, but it seemed his ego kept getting in the way.

He's also been known to go into houses and play FIFA against fans.

When has Al Pacino been decent? He’s pretty much a joke these days.

    Tunisia up 1-0 on France.

That changes some things. If Australia were to cough up an equalizer, it would put Tunisia above the line and the Aussies below it.

The Crew has been called out a few times now thanks to Milos Degenek

This is (to state the obvious) great off-season experience for a player we really need to come into next season on form. Very happy for him, and the Aussies.

No idea yet who they'll play; could be Argentina, Poland OR Saudi Arabia.

Maybe Degenek played well enough that some Euro team wants him back on their side of the pond and will pay well for him. We got about $5 mil for Giancarlo Gonzalez 8 years ago.

Hate to be a jerk but if he has another game this good, someone will probably buy him.

Screw you, Pod, slipping in before my post.

Could be, but Milos is already a known commodity in Europe, and older than Gonzalez was back in 2014. I think he was 26 when he went to Italy. Milos will be 29 in April. Time will tell.

    Huge save. Messi denied.

    I love the Friedel reference.

    This game is dire

It’s basically Messi plus ten others v Lewandowski plus ten others

Great DFK from Chavez, El Tri, up 2-0 and looking strong.

This group could come down to goals.scored

Wow. An absolute bomb of a free kick for Mexico. They lead 2-0.

    2-0 Argentina.

As of this exact moment, Poland advances on Fair Play points and Mexico is eliminated.
