Oz was actually a pretty good series. Conservatives deserve whatever horror befalls them. Including getting assaulted by someone as bigoted as they are.

Have you tried visualizing the face of the person you hate being raped?

It wasn't intended to be funny.

Not so much because of hate (that takes time and effort), but simply a deserved punishment.

Rape should NEVER be considered "punishment."
Rape is a crime of extreme violence and cannot be condoned under any circumstances.

David Corn had a great summary of GOP cowardice re Mango Nappies

Basically they want to say Trump was a great president and we love everything about him, and agree with him on everything, but he can't win, so it's time to move on. But will the argument that trump is great but a loser work for RDS with voters?

What is likely to happen is Trump will get indicted soon, and we will see a rally around the flag like what happened with the search warrant. Does it work if RDS agrees this is all a great conspiracy and trump is the victim?

It seems obvious they actually need to hammer Trump on his weaknesses, not try to ignore them, or worse, cover up for them!

IF, Trump doesn’t get indicted and convicted. The US will have a lot more shit to wade through these next years. DeSantis’s white boots will not help.

If RDS wins and pardons him, there's going to be issues. If he doesn't, there's going to be issues.

It is worth noting, that three of the other defendants were found not guilty of seditious conspiracy, but were convicted of obstructing an official proceeding..

Also, I found the guilty vs. not guilty rulings confusing (but I wasn't in the jury room, so who knows). Take Rhodes as an example. He was found guilty of seditious conspiracy, but not guilty of conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding and conspiracy to prevent an officer from discharging their duties. Yet, he was found guilty of obstructing an official proceeding and destruction of property.. How does one conspire to commit sedition, but not guilty for the conspiracy to perform the acts of that sedition..

    And in case anyone forgot:

And maybe I've watched too many movies, but do they know anything about the bomber by how the bomb was made?

Not unless the person is a serial pipe bomb maker, has a unique signature, and has been caught. Otherwise, google “how to make a pipebomb”…

I just googled where the FBIs at and most articles are months old. Focusing on the gait of the bomber (why so many say to interview Marj...lol) because there was nothing particularly special about the bombs to go on. Not even sure if a man or woman. Have interviewed hundreds of people. With no additional ones planted we'd have to assume it was 1/6 related. Maybe to distract LE from the Coonskin Coup.

With lots of cameras in area I guess they were hoping to see if person got out of a car, left a home or took a bus or whatever. They didn't just pop out of thin air. The Nike sneakers were somewhat unique I'd say.

Two things, you'd have to look at the specific elements of the offenses. (disclosure: I have not here) Sometimes there can be slight differences in the elements to be proven that will result in different verdicts despite the offenses being quite similar. The second thing is that in federal courts and in many state courts, inconsistent verdicts are not per se invalid and appellate courts will almost never set aside a seemingly inconsistent verdict, as long as there is any possible evidence in support of the various elements.

I'm not saying the verdicts is invalid. I was just confused by the jury's choices. ;)

I wasn't meaning to imply you were. Just going that step further for the audience to explain even confusing jury choices aren't usually reversible.
